INSTALLING DVBLINK TVSOURCE
Once the computer has rebooted (yes, I meant it, reboot it if you haven’t done so already) you can start the TVSource installation by running the DVBLinkTVSource.msi file and following the onscreen prompts.
CONFIGURING DVBLINK TVSOURCE
There are a number of steps you need to perform in order to configure TVSource, so take your time and follow along.
When the configuration screen opens, click on TVSource (Stream) from the left window and then click on the top arrow to copy it to the right window.
Enter a name for the new source (I decided to leave mine as TVSource).
You will notice it is now there on the right hand side with a red blob. Click on the … at the end of the line.
You will now see a list of available tuners (In my case there is only 1 tuner from AVerMedia). Click on the box to the left of the Inactive message in the Status column.
It will now show as Active and all the various tabs will be available. Make sure that the selection in the Type column is correct for the type of device that is connected.
Click on the Headends tab and then click the Add button.
Ensure that the correct selections are made (in my case, I selected DVB-T UK as my provider).
Next click on the Scan tab. If you know specifically which Transponder you want to scan untick all but that one, otherwise leave them all ticked and click on the Scan button to start the scan.
The scanning may take some time and you will receive a number of Tuning Failed messages – don’t worry, what this means is that there is nothing on that frequency. Just be patient and let it do its thing.
When channels are found during the scan they will appear in the list.
At the end of the scan you will see how many channels have been found – in my case it found 69 channels.

Interesting…. I install satellite dishes and ethernet equipment for a living and there was a few things that I didn't even know here. I suppose that's the reason that most people hire someone to install their stuff for them eh.
