Hive announces Hive Candle lights

Today Hive has announced a new Hive Lights range now includes Hive Light smart E14 bulbs.

With two types available – Hive Light Cool to Warm White and Hive Light Dimmable – these long-lasting smart LED candlelights can be controlled from anywhere with just a tap on the Hive app.

Hive Lights can work alone or be grouped together, scheduled to turn on or off when you want, set to bring personalised lighting to every room or set to automatically come on with sunset and down with sunrise. They also work with Amazon Alexa, Google Assistant and Philips Hue.

When connected to other Hive devices using Hive Actions it is easy to get your home working seamlessly around you. From lights automatically turning off when you leave the home, to lights turning on if the Hive View smart indoor camera spots unexpected motion, to making sure the middle of the night journey to the bathroom is safe for your little one.

Hive Light smart E14 bulbs are available to purchase from today, helping make the home both smarter and brighter.

Prices start from £19 for an individual bulb.

Directed by Simon Kinberg and starring Sophie Turner in the title role, X-MEN: DARK PHOENIX is coming to UK cinemas soon.

Argos to offer free supercar taxi service to celebrate the launch of Forza Horizon 4

Petrolheads, rejoice. Argos is offering its customers the chance to get a free ride home in a supercar when they pre-order a copy of the highly-anticipated Xbox One release, Forza Horizon 4, which launches on Tuesday 2nd October.

On launch day, a limited number of customers that have pre-ordered the game with Argos will be chauffeured around London in the supercar of their choice.

Taking inspiration from the game, options include models from the best of British automobile brands, McLaren and Aston Martin. For those that prefer a flashier way to get around town, a Lamborghini Aventador, Ferrari 488 and Porsche 911 GT3 RS are also available to book.

To secure a ride, customers simply need to book online via Billetto. Here customers can select their desired car and time. Fans will be asked for a booking confirmation and proof of pre-order on the day. Pick-ups will take place outside the Sainsbury’s Argos store in Nine Elms, Battersea, London.

The following cars can be booked for a ride on launch day with 30 minute slots available between 9am – 7pm:

Gotti possessed an avid mind for strategic planning and was able to manipulate the pieces of the underworld’s puzzle to his benefit. The protégée of underboss Aniello Dellacroce (Stacey Keach), Gotti managed to transform an already successful operation run by the Gambino crime family into one of the most powerful criminal organizations in NY history. The “Teflon Don”, as he would come to be known, would secure his place as the head of this family through a bloody coup carried out in the streets of Manhattan in the 1980s.

Racketeering, drugs, loan sharking, gambling, extortion, and murder became commonplace for Gotti and his crew; betrayal and involvement with the police was the ultimate taboo. But given his prominence and gruesome antics, Gotti quickly became a highly desired suspect in the FBI investigation to derail the group’s profitable illegal activities. 

Arching back and forth between the crucial events that shaped his illicit career during the 1970s, and the aftermath in the 90s when illness ravaged his health, the film presents a man whose path was marked by violence, ambition, and, despite it all, love for his family.

The film co-stars Kelly Preston as Gotti’s devout wife Victoria and is directed by Entourage star Kevin Connelly.

During Q2 2018 OnePlus was amongst the top five premium smartphone OEMs in France (#4), Germany (#4), Italy (#5), Netherlands (#4), Sweden (#3) and UK (#4) as well as across Western Europe (#4). The growth and success is down to the power of the OnePlus community, who helped to make the OnePlus 6 our most successful device to date.

OnePlus 6 was announced at an event in London earlier this year, it saw 1,500 people travel from around the world to see it unveiled. VOXI will give customers who want unlimited data for social media and the latest smartphone, the freedom to buy a phone without being tied into a lengthy mobile contract.  Offering low monthly instalments over 30 months for its range of smartphones via PayPal Credit, VOXI customers will have full control over their payment terms with the flexibility to make additional payments to reduce the length of term or pay off what’s left to get the newest upgrade. The new proposition will be available from October through www.voxi.co.uk.

Last week I played Catastronauts on the Xbox One at EGX 2018 at NEC in Birmingham, it was one of the best indie games at this year EGX 2018, the game is a chaotic couch co-op experience that sees 1-4 players assume the role of an intergalactic Starfleet locked in an epic battle with an invading enemy vessel and unrelenting disaster.

Coordination, cooperation and decisiveness are of the utmost importance in this riotous party game, as multiple tasks need to be simultaneously dealt with across the deck – systems need repairing, blazing fires need to be extinguished and the torpedoes need to be armed.

Try not to kill your friends in the process, out on the 28th September for the Xbox One, PS4, PC with a Nintendo Switch launch to follow later this year.
