Technical aspects.
Learning to handle a commercial mixer can be a daunting task. Thankfully, though, the Monoprice commercial audio 5-channel mixer is incredibly simple to set up. Yet, refining each zone and making the most of the microphone system can be a bit tricky. But with some trial and error, you’ll maximise the potential of this awesome device.
Unlike traditional 8-ohm speaker systems, this one is a constant voltage speaker system. Consequently, it allows you to use longer cable runs at lower gauges. This is particularly important if you have a vast commercial property to service. Alongside this, you can install multiple speakers on each channel of your choosing. Therefore, you can throw away the calculations and focus on simplifying your system.
On top of this, you no longer need to focus on the impedance of your speakers. Instead, you look at the overall wattage of the system. This makes setting up any zones an enjoyable task. Moreover, with some basic research, you can tackle most of the wiring and labour yourself. Subsequently, you get the setup you want whilst reducing your outlay.

More technical bits for the Monoprice commercial audio 5-channel mixer!
Trying to create perfect audio in a large industrial setting isn’t an easy task. Consequently, you must be aware of plenty of unique aspects to get the right results. Fortunately, the Monoprice commercial audio 5-channel mixer enables you to simplify a complicated arrangement. Thankfully, this mixer can drive a speaker array consisting of one or more speakers. As long as you use a parallel system comprising speakers of 70V or 100V, then this device works incredibly well.
I feel compelled to highlight the safety features as well. Industrial spaces can be dangerous and unpredictable. Therefore, it is reassuring that this device has built-in safety features to mitigate risk. If you purchase this device, you’ll enjoy built-in short circuit, over-current, and high-temperature protection. As such, this is one less problem to be concerned about.
Setting it up.
Setting up this mixer was surprisingly straightforward. Thanks to the well-labelled components, I was able to wire this into an existing set-up with ease. Word of warning though, if you have not wired your speakers correctly, you will not get the best out of this machine. As such, I recommend perfecting your layout before testing your system to its full potential.

How many microphones?
This mixer allows you to use 3 microphones as well as 2 auxiliary inputs. As such, you have no shortage of input options. Additionally, the number 1 microphone port has a priority option. This was incredible as when the system detects an EMC input trigger, all outputs except for Mic 1 are muted. Consequently, you can deliver clear broadcast information without adjusting your levels for each zone.
On top of this, the 2 remaining microphone ports have Phantom Power. Accordingly, whenever you use the balanced XLR ports and a condenser microphone, you are assured of a fantastic connection. Alternatively, you can use either the TRS or RCA rear panel inputs if you so wish. No matter which connection I used, the results were just as good.
I loved the clarity of the microphone priority and its simplicity. Knowing that any message was delivered perfectly assured me that this mixer would excel in any bar, restaurant, or large commercial space. On top of this, the additional microphone ports were ideal for a versatile approach, where voice priority wasn’t essential.

Build quality.
Commercial equipment has to be hard-wearing. Unfortunately, employees aren’t always that respectful of your expensive equipment. On top of this, accidents do happen and no one wants a drink thrown over their audio equipment. Luckily, the Monoprice commercial audio 5-channel mixer is bulletproof! The hardy metal case is easy to handle thanks to the mount ears. Moreover, every port and dial is easy to locate and access. As such, setting this up is a cinch.
I loved how easy it was to wire the cables and how secure they felt. Additionally, changing the treble, bass, and volume for each channel was straightforward. Every channel has a clear label and a basic dial system. On top of this, there is a clear LED system that highlights every input in use. Consequently, not only is this built to last, but it is extremely easy to use.

Is the Monoprice commercial audio 5-channel mixer worth it?
If you need a new mixer for your commercial property, then look no further. This constant voltage system allows you to wire in multiple speakers to the same channel. Moreover, it simplifies matters, as you no longer need to focus on impedance calculations. Furthermore, you can use longer cable runs with smaller gauge cables. As such, this reduces costs and increases your audio options.
Alongside this, the microphone priority system is a game-changer. You’ll no longer need to adjust your settings whenever you need to make an important broadcast. Instead, the mixer takes over! As such, this is perfect for technophobes and those who want a straightforward experience. Consequently, I loved it and I recommend that you buy it here!
