Final Thoughts
The NT-A3500 is very small and easily looks at home either on a desk using the stand, or fitted nicely out of the way behind your TV using the TV mount (which was very easy to fit).
One thing I would say though is that the shiny black casing really shows off fingerprints, dust and any marks – although this really shouldn’t worry you if you mounting it behind your TV.
This is the first AMD Fusion processor I have tested and I have to say I was quite impressed. I think Intel ATOMs may have to step up their game!
I found playing back 1080p content to work really well and I didn’t have a problem with stuttering at all (which I have to say I was concerned about).
There are a host of ports on the box, including an HDMI port for connected to your TV and a DVI port for connecting to a monitor. There is even a card reader if you want to view pictures, although when you have the box mounted behind the TV it all becomes a bit tricky getting access to the ports.
The box itself is fairly quiet, and even after it had been running most of the day it still felt quite cool, so that was a plus.
It also draws very little power, which should help keep your electricity bills down.
All in all a great little machine that you can use for all sorts of tasks, and is ideal for a media playback device.
Here in the UK the price for the NT-A3500 is around £157, although as we usually tell you, have a look around to get the best deal at the time. Obviously you will have to add the cost of some memory and a hard drive to that, but it still won’t break the bank.

Great review, thanks. Do you have time to install XBMC for Windows ? I would like to read if the screens move fluidly and your comments on streaming or else what about Media Center running full screen, is it quick and fluid ?
Hi John
Unfortunately its all boxed up now. But Media Center worked without any problem and I was very happy with the results.
