The GaNsta Pixel charger from BMX has reimagined the GaN charging market. Not only does it offer impressive speeds, but it is remarkably versatile, compact, and unusual to look at. Unlike other chargers, this one includes adapters for major global regions. This is perfect if you travel a lot, or you don’t fancy risking your expensive tech on poor and cheap travel adaptors.
Capable of charging up to 140W, this impressive device can keep the most power-hungry tech happy. Whether you have a gaming laptop, Steam Deck, tablet, or a next-gen phone, this device will charge them all with ease. Alongside this, it is fitted with safety protection measures to keep it and your upmarket tech safe.

Technical aspects.
Whenever you choose to invest in a GaN charger, you do so to get the best bang for your buck. However, you don’t want to cut corners, as cheap usually means risky. Thankfully, this affordable device doesn’t put you or your tech at risk. It is loaded with safety features to keep you safe. Overcurrent, AI temperature monitoring, overpower, and other key elements are included for peace of mind. Moreover, BMX has tested the main chipset and identified that there is a failure rate of less than one in every billion hours. Accordingly, I like those odds.
Another key aspect to consider is the output charging capacity. The 140W output is shared across each of the USB ports. The 3 USB-Cs offer up to 140W when charging individually, and you have a suitable cable. Alternatively, if you combine multiple devices, you’ll experience 65W, 45W, and 2×7.5W ports. This is more than sufficient to charge your MacBook, tablet, laptop, phone, watch, MP3 player, and so forth at the same time. Moreover, you have impressive safety features to ensure that nothing will go wrong.

Build quality.
The GaNsta Pixel charger has a compact but futuristic design. I like the use of LEDs and the pixel imagery to highlight your charging output. Although it is a little gimmicky, it was extremely useful to know that everything was working. Additionally, it is a bit of a USP for this brand. Unlike Anker, Cuktech, and other brands, BMX has tried to stand out without being too garish.
This GaN charger is surprisingly compact. Considering its massive output, I expected it to be huge. However, it is at least 20% smaller than the leading Anker device. This makes it ideal if you have a smaller workstation or you want a charger to chuck in your bag when you are commuting.
Finally, the case is made to resist overheating and last through those ungodly trips to work or abroad. We all know bags get knocked, and people aren’t paying attention. Therefore, accidents happen, and items get damaged. Thankfully, the hardened case and strong ports will resist damage when out and about.

Is the GaNsta Pixel charger worth it?
I’m a huge fan of GaN chargers. I love their simplicity and the versatility they offer. However, the GaNsta Pixel charger takes things to the next level. It offers impressive charging with top-level safety features as standard. Moreover, it is durable, user-friendly, and great if you have multiple devices to charge at once. I adore the LEDs, the pixel information, and the incredible build quality. Accordingly, I think it is great, and I recommend buying it here!
