NAMCO BANDAI Games Europe announced today that an inaccurate info has been spotted on the Dragon Ball Z: Battle of Z Playstation Vita packaging regarding the audio support of the game.
The packaging of the Playstation Vita indeed mentions the support of Japanese and English voice-over but the game actually supports only the latter, as shown on the Playstation Vita Demo released on 18th December.

Ubisoft has announced that the Weezer DLC pack for Rocksmith 2014 Edition is now available for download on Xbox 360, PlayStation 3 and Steam for PC and Mac.
Songs included in this 5-song pack are “Buddy Holly”, “Hash Pipe”, “My Name Is Jonas”, “Undone – The Sweater Song” and “Island In The Sun.”

Announced at this years Toy Fair 2014 in London that Lego are releasing Guardians of the Galaxy playsets on the 1st June. With the release of the cinematic release of epic space adventure Guardians of the Galaxy in cinemas this August, based on the Marvel Comics superhero team of the same name. The Lego playsets range of three exclusive play-sets inspired by key scenes from the movie to be revealed this June!.

One of the most highly anticipated video games of 2014, Titanfall, is set to be transformed from onscreen play into the world of building sets with new licensed building toys by K’NEX.
The new range will launch in the UK in autumn 2014, but visitors to the London Toy Fair gained an advanced sneak peek of the collection.
The K’NEX Titanfall Building Sets come as a result of an agreement between Respawn Entertainment, creator of the game which is set to release on March 11, 2014, and K’NEX. The relationship combines the award-winning K’NEX building system with the Titanfall World, bringing it from the digital screen to the construction aisle for the first time. With over 80 prestigious gaming awards earned before the game’s launch, Titanfall is full of exciting, explosive and thrilling action, and appeals to gamers of all ages. Titanfall will be available on Xbox 360, Xbox One, and PC.
Sets in the collection by K’NEX will include popular characters such as Pilots, multiple Titans, Spectres and other key themes from the video game. Designed for builders ages 8+, the building sets will bring the fun of the game to life, and expand its appeal through a rewarding, age-appropriate K’NEX building experience.

Capcom today announced the ultimate HD edition of Resident Evil 4 for PC digital download on Steam(R) globally and available as a retail version for Windows PC in Europe. PC gamers will be able to play the groundbreaking survival horror masterpiece in the highest visual fidelity ever with stunning HD running at a smooth 60 frames per second for the first time. Resident Evil 4 will be available from February 28, 2014 for €19.99/$19.99.
Alongside the announcement, the Steam pre-order campaign has also gone live today which includes a digital soundtrack with more than 60 tracks and a digital artbook for those that purchase early. Bohemia Interactive today released the second episode of the official campaign for Arma 3. In the new episode, titled ‘Adapt’, players take on the role of Ben Kerry, a soldier trapped on the island of Altis following a Mediterranean flashpoint. The new campaign episode’s release is accompanied by a brand new trailer.
While the first part of the campaign introduced players to Arma 3’s basic infantry combat and story, episode two opens up the military sandbox further, challenging players to adopt guerrilla tactics in the face of against a stronger, better-equipped enemy. The Adapt episode is made available to people via an automatic update on Steam.
“Episode One helped players get to grips with the basic skills needed to survive”, said Jay Crowe, Creative Director on Arma 3. “Episode Two introduces a whole new set of challenges, giving players more freedom and responsibility in the wide, open terrain of Altis.”
The official campaign for Arma 3, named ‘The East Wind’, consists of three episodes: ‘Survive’, ‘Adapt’, ‘Win’. The first campaign episode, ‘Survive’, was deployed in October 2013, followed by the second ‘Adapt’ episode today. The third and final campaign episode, ‘Win’, is scheduled for March 2014.
The regular edition of Arma 3 (44.99 EUR/39.99 GBP/59.99 USD), the Arma 3 Digital Deluxe Edition (49.99 EUR/42.99 GBP/64.99 USD) includes digital extras such as the Arma 3 soundtrack, a 350-page tactical guide, maps of Altis and Stratis, and a Steam version of the original Arma: Cold War Assault. Today Square Enix in Europe and PAL territories, announced that a playable demo for LIGHTNING RETURNS: FINAL FANTASY XIII is now available for download on the Xbox 360 and available from tomorrow for the PlayStation 3.
The 1.14GB download is available today to those with an Xbox Live Gold subscription. Xbox Live Silver people – you’ll have to wait until next Tuesday.

By playing the demo and activating the social-networking Outerworld service, players that submit their battle scores of the final fight against Zaltys can unlock the ‘Siegfried’ outfit in the full retail game. Outerworld allows you to swap comments, gift items and post pictures taken in the game via the dedicated online network and through social networking sites.
The Xbox 360 demo will be available on 21 January for Xbox Live Gold members and on 28 January for Xbox Live Silver members.
LIGHTNING RETURNS: FINAL FANTASY XIII is released in Europe and PAL territories on 14th February, 2014 for the PlayStation 3 and the Xbox 360.
NCSOFT and ArenaNet, developer of the Guild Wars franchise, has released “Origins of Madness,” the first Guild Wars 2 living world update of 2014. Beginning today, players will match wits and take up arms against the schemes of arch-villain Scarlet Briar, experiencing in-game events that promise massive battles and shocking revelations.
In “Origins of Madness” Guild Wars 2 players begin the battles that set the stage for the war to come with Scarlet. The diabolical genius has done everything in her power to tear Tyria apart with her mysterious plans and armies of minions. Now, players will begin to face Scarlet head-on, starting with massive fights on multiple fronts against two different but equally deadly threats.
On one front, players must journey to the mountains of Lornar’s Pass where Scarlet is massing her armies to defend the Twisted Marionette, Scarlet’s titanic new clockwork creation. It will require a coordinated assault by an army of players to challenge both the Marionette and Scarlet’s combined forces.
The other threat lies in Bloodtide Coast, where Scarlet has awoken something ancient and dangerous. The Great Jungle Wurm is a huge beast with three ravenous heads and an arsenal of attacks at its disposal. Only a determined effort by a large group of players has a chance at defeating this menace.

Today Samsung have confirmed that it will hold its Unpacked 2014 press conference at the Mobile World Congress (MWC) on 23rd February.
With Samsung is expected to showcase its next-generation TouchWiz user interface at the event, and even been tipped to announce its Galaxy S5 smartphone.
Rumour is that the Galaxy S5 will be unveiled at 6pm that same day, and will arrive on the market at the same price as its predecessor, Samsung Galaxy S4.
With rumours of the Samsung Galaxy S5 Specs are the device will feature a 20-megapixel camera with 4K video capabilities also with a new optical image stabilisation. Which includes a 2K QHD display, a “finger print scanner” for security purposes, and a 2900mAh battery.
Today the sixth annual Toy Fair Best New Toy Awards winners were announced this morning predicting some of the top new toys for 2014. Winners range from household names such as LEGO Friends Stephanie’s Beach House (LEGO) and Nerf N-Strike Zombie Crossbow (Hasbro) to innovative new IPs such as My Friend Cayla (Vivid) and Cupets (Flair).
The thirteen categories which produced 39 winning toys from 26 different toy companies were unveiled by Toy Fair organisers the British Toy & Hobby Association on the first day of the show this morning. Toy Fair is the UK’s only dedicated toy, game and hobby trade exhibition, playing host to more than 280 exhibitors launching thousands of new products.
This year, Hasbro and Lego took top honours with three Best New Toy Awards, while Character Options, Hornby and VTech all walk away with two awards.
The Toy Fair Best New Toy Awards are voted for by a panel of independent toy retailers as the 2014 Toy Fair products with the most potential to make a mark on retail throughout the year and beyond. The products include toys to suit every pocket, with a wide variety of price points on the list, from very affordable everyday pocket money spends such as Moshi Kart Collectables (Vivid) and Lil Fishys (Peterkin), through to special event purchases like LEGO CITY Police Station (Lego) and Ancient Dragon Castle (Playmobil).
Since their launch in 2009, more than 150 toys have received a prestigious Best New Toys Award with LEGO topping the chart with 15 awards.
Over the last six years, the awards have reflected a number of emerging trends and landmarks in the toy industry, from the birth of app toys and the increased influence of technology to the growth of licensed toys and continued strength of construction toys.
“We are delighted to showcase the Toy Fair Best New Toy Award winners for a sixth year in a row. Once again, the winners show the level of innovation and creativity within the UK toy industry, from traditional toys through to advances in technology,” commented Majen Immink, Senior Communications Manager, British Toy & Hobby Association
