a personal agenda of finding out what really happened in Afghanistan.

Raquel Shein, a deadly MOSSAD agent, also agrees to help if Jon will help her find Sergei Flostov. Flostov is a brilliant rogue scientist conducting forbidden experiments. The Israelis want to find him and shut him down.

As the team eliminates Separatist Leaders, and teams with the Georgian Resistance,
a mysterious high tech sniper, named Amazi, both thwarts and assists them. Jon fights through a treacherous web of criminal, military, and shadowy terrorist forces.

Team17 and Playtonic Games, the UK studio formed by veterans of the platforming genre, have today released a new gameplay trailer showcasing a variety of exciting local multiplayer arcade games that will feature in Yooka-Laylee when it launches on the 11th April.

Yooka-Laylee features 8 unique multiplayer arcade games which can be found in dated dino Rextro’s Arcade. Players are able to tackle all of the games solo in a bid for a high score on the leaderboards, or they can engage in local couch co-op for up to four players!

Compete in the Glaciators brawler arena to collect the most quills, race to the finish line in Kartos Karting, fight for the flag in Blag the Flag, blast away the enemies in shoot-em-up Gun-let Run and traverse both Jobstacle Course and Hurdle Hijinx, plus more! These are just some of the exciting games you can expect to find in Rextro’s Arcade.

Nintendo surprised Fire Emblem fans last night via a Nintendo Direct announcement with the news that multiple games from the hit strategy-RPG franchise are in development. These include a new game for smart devices, two new games for Nintendo Switch and multiple games for the Nintendo 3DS.

  • Fire Emblem Heroes comes to smart devices: Nintendo launches its next mobile adventure when Fire Emblem Heroes arrives on mobile devices. For detailed information on release timings by OS, please check the Fire Emblem Heroes website.

  • Fire Emblem Heroes is an original strategy-RPG about two warring kingdoms in a bitter clash. As a summoner, players build their army by calling upon Fire Emblem heroes from worlds that span the breadth of the series. Players will wage strategic tactical battles streamlined for on-the-go play and level up a mix of new combatants and legendary heroes. Some familiar hero characters will become allies, while others will become enemy generals and take arms against you.

  • Players can enjoy the full majesty of tactical role playing on bite sized maps designed fit nicely on a smartphone screen, even when playing in short bursts. Lead your army with easy touch and drag controls, including the ability to attack by simply swiping an ally hero over an enemy. If you manage to defeat every enemy on a given map, victory will be yours. The heroes are depicted in new art hand-drawn by a variety of illustrators, and their voices have been newly recorded.   • Fire Emblem Echoes: Shadows of Valentia recreates classic Fire Emblem gameplay with a modern twist, mixing in exploration of dungeons crawling with enemies. Fire Emblem Echoes: Shadows of Valentia will launch on the Nintendo 3DS on 19th May. Characters from the game, Alm and Celica, will also be available as amiibo figures.   • Fire Emblem meets KOEI TECMO GAMES’ Warriors series: Fire Emblem Warriors is being developed separately for both the Nintendo Switch and New Nintendo 3DS, which includes the New Nintendo 3DS and New Nintendo 3DS XL. It’s being developed by the team that created Hyrule Warriors, and is scheduled to launch this autumn.
  • Fire Emblem is coming to Nintendo Switch: For the first time since Fire Emblem: Radiant Dawn on the Wii console in 2008, a new entry in the Fire Emblem series is being developed for a Nintendo home console with the ability to also be played portably! The new game is scheduled to launch in 2018. Nintendo Switch goes on sale 3rd March, and lets players take their home console games with them wherever they go. Software is sold separately.

Deep Silver has announced a new video games for this year 2017, this time in collaboration ATLUS that will release two installments full of adventures and dangers. Are treated Utawarerumono: Mask of Deception and Utawarerumono: Mask of Truth.

Originally known as Utawarerumono: Itsuwari no Kamen in Japan, Mask of Deception is a grand tale meant to enchant the hearts and minds of players in search of incredible journey. The game begins atop a snowy mountain where the protagonist awakens in an unfamiliar wilderness, surrounded by deadly creatures, with nothing but a hospital gown and a splitting headache. However, he’s eventually rescued by a beautiful girl named Kuon, who sports both adorable animal ears and a beastlike tail. Finding that the hapless man has no memory of anything, Kuon decides to take the amnesiac into her care, naming him Haku. As their journey takes them across the land, Haku will (reluctantly) encounter colorful characters (yes, that means more animal people), build deep relationships, battle ruthless enemies, and find himself inexorably drawn into the political machinations of the mighty nation of Yamato.

A brief note on content: While ATLUS is committed to bringing over games that are as true to their original forms as possible, in the case of Mask of Deception, a scene had to have a small content edit to comply with various regional regulations about the depiction of physical discipline to minors. We worked with AQUAPLUS to keep the scope of the editing to an absolute minimum, and we both agree the change made to the scene in the game still conveys its full meaning without running into issues.

Utawarerumono: Mask of Deception and Utawarerumono: Mask of Truth will both be available physically for PS4 (49.99 € / £39.99) in 2017 in Europe. The games, originally published/developed by AQUAPLUS, will have their original Japanese audio.
