I connected remotely to my Vail server today and had a pleasant surprise. I had to change my password. Did you know that your Vail password will need to be changed? I am not sure I like this. What do you think?

Not much to say about this as far as a post but interesting. I could not find any documentation about passwords on Connect. Time to let them know what I think!

I hope you get a chance to check it out and sign up for the Vail beta!

  1. Tim,

A few of us have come up against this and you can remove the default 42 day expiry in Local Security Policy. There is a setting for Password Age which just needs to be set to 0.
