Technical aspects.
Gaming peripherals rely on many key aspects. However, it is the accuracy of the sensors, low-latency polling rates, and exceptional battery life that make a product stand out from its peers. The Nest gaming mouse offers each of these elements and more for those who want a match-winning edge.
The PAW3950 sensor offers an impressive up to 30k DPI rating. This is important if you need the fastest inputs while playing demanding FPS titles. This is complemented by ridiculously fast polling rates. 8k polling is not to be sniffed at! Gamers will enjoy this if they use the provided USB-C cable or USB transmitter. If you wish to use Bluetooth, this drops to 250 Hz.
Versatility is key, and having the option to change between a wired and wireless connection is a must. I’m not a fan of wired gaming mice, so I focused my energy on the USB transmitter. The results speak for themselves, as I was blown away by the impressive speed and accuracy. I tested the Bluetooth functionality with my Steam Deck, and it was suitable for many games. Therefore, this is perfect if you want to increase your mobile gaming options.
Finally, the 250 mAh capacity battery is fantastic. This offers months of gaming between charges. Although heavy users may have a different tale to tell, casual gamers will be amazed by the seamlessly, never-ending battery life.

Build quality.
AKKO is confident in its build quality. The Nest gaming mouse offers a 100 million click guarantee. This is enormous and will be suitable for many gamers’ needs. I wasn’t able to test it to that number, but I’m confident that it will last a lifetime.
Each of the tactile buttons is nicely located, and I appreciated the comfortable low-profile shell. Weighing just 49 grams, this lightweight mouse is ideal if you want something stable, easy to use, and light enough to chuck in your bag. Designed with a hard-wearing shell, this mouse will endure the brutality of modern gaming. It’ll withstand knocks and bumps, and the solid colour resists oily and unsightly stains.

Is the Nest gaming mouse worth it?
If you don’t like lightweight, gaming-focused peripherals, this isn’t for you. It is designed for competitive and energetic gaming. Furthermore, it is aimed at right-handed gamers who want a match-winning edge. I like the low latency and responsive polling. Moreover, I appreciated the plug-and-play design. Accordingly, I think it’s great, and I recommend buying it here!
