Watch Yaiba – Ninja Gaiden Z First Gameplay Footage

Yaiba: Ninja Gaiden Z has debuted its first gameplay footage on GameTrailers. The game is a zombie-themed spinoff from Tecmo Koei’s martial arts series, in development for Xbox 360 and PlayStation 3.

Created by Keiji Inafune, Yaiba: Ninja Gaiden Z is developed by Team Ninja and Lost Planet 3 studio Spark Unlimited. Epic Games’ Unreal Engine 3 technology will feature in the game after Tecmo Koei entered a deal with the company. Yaiba: Ninja Gaiden Z sees villainous undead ninja Yaiba Kamikaze return from his grave to seek revenge against protagonist Ryu Hayabusa, who was responsible for his death. The game will be released in “early 2014”.
