The latest beta release of the popular SageTV application has been released.

So what is Sage TV (in case you haven’t heard of it)?

SageTV lets you enjoy your favourite TV shows and online video when you want, wherever you want on any TV, PC or Mac!

Browse, search and watch all the latest online video from Google Video from the comfort of your couch with SageTV Media Center V6.

Enjoy the most popular online videos, news, movie trailers, TV shows, comedy, music videos and more at the push of a button on your remote control.


Below are some of the changes for V7.0.12:

Couple new features in this one:

-Automatic rotation of JPEG files that have headers that indicate so
-MKV Chapter support
-Extended theme capability
-Absolute minimum font size can be set
-PGS (bluray) subtitles in MKV (only playback on HD extenders)
-Workaround for ATI driver bug in 4xxx series GPUs w/ EVR
-ZLIB data compression on the placeshifter UI channel
-Unlimited video buffering in placeshifter client
-Lockout of setup menus using parental controls feature
And the issue with ‘metadata cross-linking’ that was exposed by the BMT plugin is also fixed in here…along with lots of other stuff.
