Final Thoughts
The S2 Pro is compact and nicely balanced and it sits comfortably in your hand, even when you are working your way through a big flat-pack job.
When fully charged, the 2000mAh battery gives you enough power to drive around 1500 small M3 screws, which is far more than most people will get through between charges. Charging is via a Type-C port (5V/2A) and takes around half the time it used to. Just be aware, you can’t use the screwdriver while it is charging, so it’s worth topping it up before you start a bigger project.
There are seven torque settings to choose from – 0.5, 1, 2, 3, 4, 5 and 6N·m – and they are really easy to switch between. The lowest setting is perfect for laptops, games consoles and other electronics where you don’t want to strip a tiny screw, while the top setting has plenty of power for furniture and fixings around the house.
The energy bar is a nice touch, showing you which torque level you are on and which way the motor is turning (forward or reverse), so you are never left guessing. The LED work light also does a great job of lighting up dark corners and the inside of PC cases.
The 20 bits cover all of the common screw types and they are held magnetically in the storage case, so finding the one you need is quick and simple. The extension rod and 90° angle adapter really come into their own when you need to get into tight spaces – the back of a drawer or behind an appliance for example – definitely keep them handy as they make awkward jobs so much easier.
The Fanttik S2 Pro Electric Screwdriver is available now priced around £119.99, although at the time of writing it is on offer for £89.99.
