Here is our review of the PlayTrek Travel Case: Minecraft – Nintendo Switch 2.

Keep your console safe on your travels with the PlayTrek Travel Case from Turtle Beach, an officially licensed case that brings some blocky Minecraft style to your Nintendo Switch 2. This version features the Minecraft Dungeons II design, with Valorie and a couple of Creepers taking centre stage on the front.
The case is built around a tough EVA moulded shell with a hard-wearing outer layer, designed to shrug off the bumps and knocks that come with life on the move. Inside, a padded flap sits over the screen to help keep it free from scratches and also holds up to 12 game cards.
There is a zipped mesh pocket for cables, earbuds and other small bits, plus a carrying handle so you can just grab it and go. And while it is made for the Switch 2, it will also happily take the original Nintendo Switch and the Nintendo Switch OLED Model.

Final Thoughts
The PlayTrek Travel Case is fairly compact and lightweight (it weighs in at just 378g) so it won’t add much bulk to your bag, and the carrying handle makes it really easy to grab as you head out of the door.
The Minecraft Dungeons II design looks great, with Valorie and the Creepers really standing out on the front – younger Minecraft fans in particular are going to love it, and it also makes the case very easy to spot among all your other gear.
The case measures 300mm x 155mm x 58mm and the Switch 2 fits in nicely with the Joy-Con controllers still attached, so there is no need to take anything apart before packing it away. If you still have an original Switch or a Switch OLED lying around, don’t worry, those will fit too.
The EVA moulded shell feels sturdy and offers plenty of protection against everyday bumps and knocks, whether it is being thrown into a rucksack for the school run or packed into a suitcase for a holiday.
The padded flap does a good job of protecting the screen and also holds up to 12 game cards, which is more than enough for most trips. The zipped mesh pocket is handy for keeping smaller items such as a charging cable or a pair of earbuds in one place – definitely make use of it so you don’t end up rummaging around the bottom of your bag.
The zip runs smoothly and getting your console in and out is really simple and quick, which is exactly what you want when you are about to start a long journey.
The PlayTrek Travel Case: Minecraft – Nintendo Switch 2 is available now priced around £19.99 and is available in either the Minecraft Dungeons II or Minecraft Great Outdoors design.
