The Steam Deck isn’t a new concept, and there are plenty of handheld devices to rival it. However, this market leader is still as popular today as it ever was. This popularity opens opportunities for some top-end peripherals and accessories. WaterField has heard the call, as they have created the SteamPack. It’s an exceptional travel case to keep your Steam Deck and accessories safe.
This large case offers enough room for your handheld device, Steam controllers, Cuktech Power bank, and every cable you’d require. Although it is slightly bulky, I adore the chance to store everything in one place. If you want something slimmer, there is a magnetic case that can be purchased here!
Whenever I look at a case, I desire something that is versatile, useful, durable, and stylish. This case ticks all those boxes. With exceptional leather material, strong zips, spacious pockets, and a handy carry strap, it is the ideal option for commuting gamers.
The SteamPack is an exceptional option.
If you love your Steam Deck, you’ll want to keep it protected. This high-end handheld device isn’t cheap to replace; therefore, buying something that’ll keep it safe is a must. Furthermore, mobile gaming is more complicated than ever. No longer do we just use the analogue sticks to play our games. No, we insist on adding premium controllers and a mouse and keyboard. This inevitably makes things less portable and harder to manage.
Well, the SteamPack has been designed to overcome those problems. This incredible case has several compartments to keep every item safe. Additionally, the soft lining prevents your screen from becoming damaged. Whether you choose to use a controller or a small form factor keyboard, there is ample room to house either. Moreover, there is a handy mesh area to securely stow your earbuds.
The result is a case that is convenient and safe. You don’t need to worry about your tech becoming damaged, and you can store everything in one place when it isn’t being used. On top of this, if you are taking the train or flying, you’ll have everything in one place.
Build quality.
The SteamPack is designed for fashion-focused gamers. Moreover, it is built to withstand the stresses of modern living. The full-grain leather material wraps around the bottom and sides to deliver a durable and sturdy case. The supple but strong design retains its elongated shape. This is ideal when you stuff every pocket with your gaming accessories.
The strong dual zippers are perfect for quick access to your Steam Deck. Moreover, the YKK waterproof zipper is the best around. It withstands dust and water to guarantee secure and smooth operation. A magnetic flap is the number one choice to secure the side pocket and keep your minor accessories safe.
Where this excels is its choice of leather or nylon materials. The waxed canvas and leather combo looks amazing, and it’s great to hold. I went with the waxed canvas and chocolate leather for a sophisticated and timeless case. The materials are stitched together with precision and tight, colour-matched thread. This makes it a clean and professional finish that is a real head-turner. Furthermore, you can add a colour-matched sling strap if you want to remain hands-free.
Finally, your Steam Deck screen will remain unscathed as a plush Ultrasuede liner protects your screen from dirt, dust, and scratches. Moreover, it acts as a screen cleaner. The result is a handheld console that is as clean as the day you purchased it.
Is the SteamPack worth it?
I love mobile gaming, and keeping my tech safe while looking great is always appealing. The SteamPack delivers durable protection, plenty of space, and different ways to transport your gaming accessories. Furthermore, it looks amazing, and I love the seamless, never-ending space, the secure pockets, and the exceptional build quality. Accordingly, it is amazing, and I recommend buying it here!
