Here is our review of the Final VR3000 +Condenser Mic for Gaming.

Immerse yourself in properly spatial in-game audio with the Final VR3000 +Condenser Mic for Gaming, built on the same acoustic tuning as the original VR3000 that’s already sold over 160,000 units worldwide. Rather than piling on artificial bass or treble, Final has tuned this one to recreate accurate front, back, left, right and vertical positioning, so footsteps and gunfire land exactly where they should.

On top of that spatial accuracy, this version adds a detachable cable with a proper condenser mic built in, so you get clear communication alongside the immersive sound without needing a separate headset mic bolted on.

A Closer Look

Final Thoughts

The VR3000 +Condenser Mic earphones are lightweight and comfortable enough that you genuinely forget you’re wearing them, even a few hours into a session.

The earphones themselves use an ABS housing with a dynamic driver, and at just 23g they’re genuinely light to wear for long gaming sessions. The 0.78mm 2-pin connector means the cable pulls away cleanly, which is handy if you ever want to upgrade it or simply need a replacement further down the line. The condenser mic sits a little way along the cable rather than on a boom arm, and the included mic windscreen does a good job of taking the edge off when you’re calling out plays to your team.

Where these really stand out is the spatial audio. Rather than boosting frequencies to sound more “exciting”, Final has gone for accuracy, and it shows. In fast-paced FPS titles you can actually place enemies by sound alone, front, back or off to the side, and in quieter story-driven games there’s a real sense of depth and distance that a lot of gaming earphones simply don’t bother with.

Being wired keeps latency out of the equation entirely, so what you hear lines up exactly with what’s happening on screen. Pairing that with the in-line controller means volume adjustments are just a thumb movement away, no messing about with software.

The condenser mic is a genuinely useful addition. Voice comes through clearly and naturally rather than sounding flat or overly compressed, and the windscreen sponge keeps things clean even if you’re the type to get animated during a match. It’s a proper alternative to lugging a full headset around if you’d rather keep things compact.

Comfort-wise, the five included eartip sizes and the ear hooks mean it’s easy to get a fit that stays put, which matters a lot when you’re leaning into every corner in a shooter.

The Final VR3000 +Condenser Mic for Gaming is available now priced around £79.99.
