OK so why would you install Plex? Simple: it provides one of the best streaming experiences available. Here are some screen shots of the experience from my Surface RT:
Plex on the TS-419P+ is great as long as you understand that no transcoding will happen; if you device does not have support for your file format, it won’t play.
QTS 4.0 Overall Evaluation
TurboNAS 3.8 was a really nice operating system. It was easy to configure and was pretty stable. I had issues, though, with the factory reset process, and wanted a faster interface that was easier to navigate. QNAP delivered that in this update, and it you are running TurboNAS and QTS is available for your NAS unit, go ahead and upgrade.
