Overall Impressions
EA Sports put the whole PS3 game experience into the Vita version. There are a few rough edges; for instance, the game audio sometimes said second down when it was third and the canned announcer reactions to plays are a little more limited, but overall the Vita game is a faithful and complete treatment of the Madden NFL experience. It can also be played on a plane or on the road, something I can’t do with my full PS3. If you know how to play the game on the PS3, good news…the controls are consistent with the PS3 controls, with a few additions to take advantage of Vita-specific controls.
I highly recommend it for football fans. It is a highly engaging and fun game and I give it a 5/5 rating. Now go and get yourself a copy!
