The HE60 keyboard from Epomaker is designed with gamers in mind. It is extremely versatile, durable, and easy to use. Furthermore, it has incredible polling rates, a high-capacity battery, and accurate inputs.
This 60% form factor device may be small, but it has full keyboard capabilities. The preprogrammed macros are useful, and users can maximise the potential with a little trial and error. Moreover, it utilises VIA programming to personalise it to your needs. Consequently, it is a tiny peripheral that packs a massive punch.

Technical aspects.
The HE60 keyboard is a small tri-mode device that is as customisable as it is plug-and-play. Users can connect this from the box and get on with their day. Alternatively, they can install the free-to-download software and adjust every element. This is a great approach as it’ll appeal to novice PC gamers and those who love to tinker.
The tri-mode connectivity offers 3 Bluetooth profiles, a wired option, and 2.4 GHz connectivity via a USB transceiver. The wired and wireless options are your go-to for up to 8k polling and instantaneous results. This reduces considerably for BT users, but the seamless transition between profiles makes it a useful option. I used it with my tablet and mobile phone, and I liked the convenience and easy-to-manage connectivity.
The battery is huge! It offers around 2 weeks of no RGB usage. Alternatively, if you go loud and proud, you’ll need to charge this every other day. I focused on wired gaming on my PC, so this was never a concern. However, if you despise wires, you can charge this in no time to keep it juiced up between sessions.
Actuation is a key element for elite gamers. The switches are accurate while offering impressive actuation response rates. 0.005mm RT accuracy makes this one of the most accurate devices I’ve tested. Moreover, I was impressed by the lack of dead zones, instant results, and pinpoint typing and gaming precision.

Build quality.
The HE60 keyboard offers double-shot PBT keycaps for increased durability and long-lasting key fonts. Furthermore, they resist unsightly grease marks and wear and tear. This keeps your keyboard looking fresh for longer. If you need to clean your device, this can be done with ease. A simple cloth and cleaning agent get rid of any unwanted marks without damaging the device.
The hardened plastic case is designed with portability in mind. Its compact design makes it the perfect commuting option. Subsequently, it may take a few unwanted knocks and bumps. Thankfully, it will resist getting damaged regardless of the small elements of abuse.
This is a hot-swappable device that is compatible with other HE switches. This wasn’t my first concern, but if you wish to swap your switches, no technical know-how is required. Simply pull the keycaps, remove the switches, and replace them with ease.
I love a rich and clean audio profile. However, there is a fine line between necessity and annoyance. Thankfully, the HE60 keyboard incorporates 5 layers of sound-dampening material for a creamy typing soundscape. It has a deep thwocky sound that feels fresh and familiar.

Is the HE60 keyboard worth it?
Picking up the right gaming keyboard can be tough. Finding the correct size and style can be challenging. Furthermore, getting one to improve your skills is tougher still. Thankfully, the HE60 keyboard is the perfect gaming device. It is compact, responsive, and accurate. Moreover, it looks great, and I love the excellent build quality. Accordingly, it is amazing, and I recommend buying it here!
