This camera is set up in my basement next to the TV looking at the couches. Click on Administration to configure the camera. Since this camera is very similar to the 551WI, there is only one screen with a different option: the user setup and deletion screem, which adds options to allow the user to use the PTZ options. Here is what that looks like:
Otherwise, the administration screens are the same well-executed, easy-to-use screens as the 551WI uses. This is a good thing!
Using the PTZ Features
The fun part of this camera is using the PTZ features to change your field of view. Click on View Video.
In addition to the audio on/off and email/upload switches present on the 551, the 651W has the pan/zoom controls on the left. To change the camera view upwards, click the Up button. To make each click move farther, toggle the Pan Degree/Tilt Degree setting to any digit between 1 and 10; you are choosing the number of degrees to change the pan/tilt. Here, I reset both pan and tilt to 10.
Let’s tilt up once (10 degrees) and see what we get.
