Notice the address section right above the Up/Down/Left/Right buttons now reads 154,44 compared to 154,34. The 44 went up by ten as I tilted the camera up by 10. Cool!
Another nice feature here is the ability to set preset positions. Here is the home position of the camera, looking right at the couch.
Let’s say I want to make sure that the cat feeders are full. Click on Preset Position at the bottom left and click on 3 Cat Feeders and press the Go To button. You’ll see this.
To set this position, I panned and tilted until I had the shot framed, clicked on Preset Position and choose a blank position number, gave the position a name and clicked Set. That is all there is to it!
If you want the camera to pan around , click on Swing. The camera will then pan around to the various presets until you click on Stop.
Zooming is likewise easy. The camera will digitally zoom in when you click on a zoom level. Here, I zoom in at x2 on the cat feeders. I panned a little bit to center the shot.
Not bad, let’s go x3 and see what we get.
