The TS-569L 5 bay unit goes for around $800 diskless, but these are new products and are not widely available yet. But with Atom processors and the ability to expand memory to 3GB, these are powerful units. I especially like the two-part firmware; if the boot corrupts, the unit automatically recovers the firmware and continues the boot process. I’ve had issues with a QNAP unit corrupting during boot, and this would have made my life much easier!
