Following on from the announcement yesterday about Sky’s NOW TV service, an Android app has been released, but don’t all rush out as it has limited device support and doesn’t yet support Ice Cream Sandwich.

NOW TV app for Android

‘Pay & play’ movies on NOW TV range from 99p for classic titles to £3.49 for the latest blockbusters.

This app requires minimum Android software 2.2 and 2.3.x., and is compatible with the following devices:

  • HTC Desire
  • HTC Desire HD
  • HTC Desire S
  • HTC Incredible S
  • Samsung Galaxy S

In the coming weeks there will be support added for other Android devices and for Ice Cream Sandwich, so for now if you are not on one of the supported devices you will have to sit patiently waiting just a little while longer.
