How would you like to visit events such as CES? How would you like to write for UWHS? Well now’s your chance – UWHS needs your help!
When UWHS first started all those years ago, the site was dedicated to just Windows Home Server.
Well over the last year or so we have expanded to cover all manner of subjects, including Media Center, gadgets, things in the digital home, and even Apple products.
During 2011 the site will be expanding even more, with lots of new features (but more on that another time), and as such it is more than just Tim and myself are able to do.
So, that is where you guys come in!
How would you like to write with us? We are looking for all sorts of writers and anyone interested in tech. You can write news articles, opinion pieces, reviews of hardware and software, and so on, the possibilities are endless. It doesn’t just have to be on Windows Home Server – you can write about any subject you have an interest in. It could be Apple, Microsoft, Android, mobile devices, hardware, software, audio, video, and so on…..
You could even get to come along to events such as CES (and we have quite a few things planned around this as well).
At the moment we can’t pay you (although this may change in the future depending on what happens), but you would get access to shows and events, get to keep the odd gadget or two, get software and build up a reputation as a writer. Plus, you never know, you might even get awarded a Microsoft MVP award (this is what happened to Tim). And you would also get other free stuff too – did you see the amount of stuff I came back with from CES!

Ideally we are looking for people who can write often, maybe a couple of times a week (again, the articles don’t have to be long, especially if they are news items), but anything you want to write would be great.
