With all the photos of CES being posted, I thought it might be fun to post photos of some of the SWAG we amassed at CES! And this is only the stuff we actually brought home!

Pens and Pen Drives

Everywhere you go at CES, either on the show floor or at press-only events, there are pens and pen drives. Here is just a selection of some of the things available.

iPhone Cases, iPad Cases and Screen Protectors

This year the rage seemed to be iPhone and iPad cases, along with screen protectors, wipes and other assorted things. Some were really quite good (thanks again Sonos!).

Useful and Strange

Then there was the very useful things, such as the HD video camera from Toshiba, the portable power strip from Monster, the Hello Kitty pen drive (yeah, I try to find the cool Hello Kitty stuff) and a set of waterproof bags in case you want to dunk your phone in a fish tank!

There were also phone battery packs (very useful when spending 12-14 hours at CES).

I even won a Seagate 500 GB GoFlex Drive by finding a the Seagate guy who was wondering around the show floor and showing him a tweet. Now I have to admit it was actual luck, I read the tweet and happened to turn to my right and there he was – and so the drive was mine!

  1. One day I'll get to join you guys at one of these events (and not just the User Group in Birmingham).

  2. Mind you, I did manage to land a Sony eBook Reader this year as 'Swag' at InfoSec at Earls Court for dropping my business card in a bowl.

  3. I think it was just reward for the 'pain' of sitting down with eight different AV vendors for half an hour each. Couldn't convince any of them to put their weight behind WHS.
