Release Candidate 1 for SageTV V7.0.17 is out now – are you going to test it?

Howdy again all!

Oh yeah…it’s the Release Candidate stage. Getting close to being done with V7.0 now…estimating about 3 more weeks and then we’ll be final. No more features will be added now, it’s purely bug fixing going on. So if you have any bugs, please report them!

We do have a couple last minute features that snuck into this one though:

-Default language selection for audio tracks and subtitles
-UserRecord API for plugin developers to allow generic data storage in the SageTV Database

IMPORTANT: The Wiz.bin file from 7.0.17 is NOT backwards compatible with prior versions due to the introduction of a new datatype for plugin developers
