Today, Ubisoft revealed more tracks to be included in all versions of Rocksmith 2014 Edition as well as 6 additional songs that will be available as free DLCs for all purchasers of the guitar bundle (Exclusively with Amazon in the UK). Sniper Elite 3 is Back Loading up his Sniper Rifle

Warface sneak peek phase adds new settings, game modes and more

Crytek have announced that their free-to-play shooter Warface will enter an exciting new “Sneak Peek” phase tomorrow. For a chance to join the action players can still register at http://www.warface.com/.

Players will have a wealth of new content to explore when the game update takes place, including new locations, game modes and rewards. The Sneak Peek phase will introduce a spectacular new Chinese setting that takes the fight against Blackwood forces to the Far East. Players will also be able to suit up as female soldiers for the first time, as well as trying their hand at the brand new Destruction mode – a fresh take on classic capture and hold gameplay. Further updates mean Warface will now offer five daily Coop missions instead of three, and allow players to earn greater rewards by setting pre-game challenges. Finally, a new tutorial system will be introduced so that everyone might be able to prepare for battle by undertaking short, class-specific training missions.

Before entering the Sneak Peek phase, character data built up during recent Closed Beta weekends will be wiped for the final time. The Sneak Peek phase will be open to everyone who is part of any Warface Closed Beta phase, and will be followed next week by the arrival of a Pre-Open Beta phase which remains restricted to invited players. Sometime during this Pre-Open Beta phase, the Warface in-game shop will be made accessible.

Ubisoft announced that Just Dance 2014, the newest instalment of the No. 1 selling dance game franchise, is available on 4th October in the UK on Nintendo’s Wii and Wii U, Playstation 3 and Xbox 360.

Continuing the tradition of including a variety of the hottest new songs and old school hits, Just Dance 2014 includes more than 45 top songs with highlights such as “Applause” by Lady Gaga, “Blurred Lines” by Robin Thicke Ft. Pharrell, “Kiss You” by One Direction, “Get Lucky” by Daft Punk Ft. Pharrell Williams, “Starships” by Nicki Minaj and also “Roar” by Katy Perry, available as a free DLC on the launch day of the game.

Guild Wars 2 Update Twilight Assault is Now Out

NCSOFT and ArenaNet, developer of the acclaimed Guild Wars franchise, are delighted to announce the latest content update for Guild Wars 2, Twilight Assault, going live today 1^st October. The update continues ArenaNet’s commitment to delivering players new content every two weeks, faster than any Western competitor.

In Twilight Assault, trouble is stirring in Twilight Arbor and rumours abound that Scarlet Briar, the devious leader of the Aetherblades, is behind the suspicious activity. Players will join the sylvari hero Caithe in attempting to stop Scarlet’s scheming, but it will take daring, wits and weaponry to put an end to the mischief.
New Events · Level 80 Path in Twilight Arbor: Players can work with each other and Caithe to find a way into a secret, hidden facility where they’ll take on guards, navigate traps, and square off against the monster at the heart of the stronghold.
New Rewards

Achievement Rewards: Players completing Twilight Assault can earn the new (glowing) Slickpack back item, or a miniaturised version of one of the most powerful foes that lurk in Twilight Arbor.
Exotic Nightmare Weapons: Players can obtain a new version of the Nightmare weapons via rare drops by foes in Twilight Arbor explorable mode.
Aether Chests: Players can collect Aether Key Pieces from across Tyria, combining five to form a key that will open Aether Chests in Twilight Arbor.

New GTA Online Details Release before Launch

Get everyone ready for the launch of Grand Theft Auto Online.You can also look forward to plenty of GTA Online game tips and other community support features to roll out at the Rockstar Games Social Club website later today as well – expect tutorial tips to be updated regularly as new content is added to GTA Online.

Access to GTA Online
* Access to Grand Theft Auto Online is free with your copy of Grand Theft Auto V. On October 1st there will be a small downloadable Title Update released on PlayStation Network and Xbox LIVE. Upon installation of that Title Update, direct access to begin GTA Online will be unlocked in your GTAV game menu. You will be able to jump right into GTA Online via the 4th (bottom) slot in your GTAV character wheel. We’ve received many questions asking for a specific confirmation of what exact time GTA Online will be available but of course this is contingent on both Title Updates becoming available on each console’s network. As a general timeframe, we do expect the Title Update to become available on PSN and Xbox LIVE starting around 12PM (British time) today.

When does GTA Online Take Place?

* Some people who’ve been playing through Grand Theft Auto V’s Story Mode have been inquiring how the narrative of GTA Online correlates or crosses over. Grand Theft Auto Online is set a few months prior to the events of Grand Theft Auto V’s single player story.

Home and Garage Security

* There’s plenty of havoc and treachery you can cause out in the open world of course, but in order to prevent some really annoying “griefing”, we’ve designed house party invitations specifically to be a friendly social affair where players can visit each other’s pads without fear of having them ruined or losing their hard-earned vehicles in the process. If someone invites you into their property, then it is considered a friendly visit and you will not be able to shoot up their place or steal their cars from their garage. By the way, in any given lobby, if you and another player own the same piece of property, you will each be able to enter your own personal instance of that property at any given time. You will also be able to enter each other’s instance of that property if you exchange and accept an invite. This way, multiple instances of ownership of the same property within a lobby can co-exist.

GTA$ and Fair Play

* To allay some concerns we’ve heard on this subject, we can assure you that the game is designed such that the option of purchasable GTA$ should not disrupt the playing field – and there are a few mechanics in place to help ensure that. All players still have to rank up with Reputation Points (RP) in order to get access to purchase high-end items. No one can begin GTA Online and simply spend a lot of money out of the gate to get a leg up. You will have to earn your stripes and play to unlock access to the aspirational clothes, guns and other items. Please also remember that in GTA Online,
hustling to afford the finer things by earning GTA$ doing robberies, stick-ups, winning races and other profitable activities is a fun gameplay experience
rather than ever being a ‘grind’. As we mentioned on Wednesday, we will constantly tweak all areas of the game to make it play fairer and iron out any balancing problems (while fixing all the other problems we encounter!), but we really need your help in figuring out what those issues are.

An Ever-Growing Collection of Jobs

* Grand Theft Auto Online is a long-term GTA experience that you can expect to be built-upon, to grow and to evolve in many ways in the coming weeks, months and beyond. As part of that, there will be a massive amount of Jobs available to play over time as we will be regularly adding new
ones for you to enjoy. Additionally, you will soon be helping to add content to the game world yourselves, by creating custom Race and Deathmatch Jobs through the Content Creator tool which we plan to release this fall. Grand Theft Auto Online is a collaborative project between Rockstar and all GTA players worldwide, so expect that we’ll effectively be working on it together from day one. As a very small example, the Crew Hierarchies feature that was introduced a few weeks back on Social Club was a direct result of popular fan feedback from last year. We’ll be looking at the GTA Online community’s feedback, input and ideas constantly to help inform how the game itself will grow and evolve.

The Character Creation System

* The hereditary-based character creation system of Grand Theft Auto Online allows for a multitude of options to create your avatar that will then inhabit the online world of Los Santos & Blaine County. Choose your gender then decide on your mother and father. From there, you can choose to give one parent genetic dominance or leave them more evenly matched. The choice is yours. Next, you adjust a set of lifestyle variables which help determine your character’s appearance and starting stats. Decide how much sleep he/she gets, how much partying they indulge in, how much honest work versus illegal activity, and more. Essentially, you can adjust the genetics to wind up with a fresh faced lad or lass or a grizzled, haggard degenerate or anywhere in between! You’ll also be able to preview your end result in real time all throughout to ensure you’re satisfied before putting your character on a direct flight to LS. Of course, once you’re out and about in the open world, you can further customize your character with haircuts, clothing and accessories to suit your tastes.

Exclusive Social Club Features

* In Grand Theft Auto Online, Social Club members get access to weaponry and vehicular unlocks, a whole new suite of Crew features to represent and coordinate with your squad, and special tools to get the most out of Rockstar Jobs and user-created Jobs when the Content Creator tool launches this fall. Check out the updated for an overview of GTA Online Social Club features including new Crew customization possibilities like Crew colours and Emblem vehicle decals, Crew messaging options, and Open or Closed Crew Sessions. Plus unlocks like the Sawed-Off Shotgun, the Annis Elegy RH8 and the John Marston Parent option to do the Marston family proud in the modern day West. Also stay tuned for info later in October about the very first GTA Online Social Club Events which will have special Event Playlists curated by Rockstar, reserved in-game license plate awards for top players, and more. Nintendo today will release a new edition of Nintendo Direct, Mr Iwata & Mr Shibata bring updates on Wii U and Nintendo 3DS software launching in the remainder of 2013. The broadcast, hosted by Nintendo President Satoru Iwata and Nintendo of Europe President Satoru Shibata, will provide updates on previously announced software coming to Wii U and Nintendo 3DS in the remainder of 2013.

The new Nintendo Direct will be streamed from the Nintendo Direct website on 1^st October at 3pm BST.

In the first of a two part interview, we talk with Paul Cross from Ubisoft about Rocksmith 2014.

With a completely redesigned interface, new songs, and all-new features, Rocksmith 2014 Edition is tailored to better teach the key elements of guitar playing. A new fully customizable “Riff Repeater” lets players select any section of a song they want to play, and repeat that section over-and-over until it’s mastered. Players can also set the starting difficulty level, speed, or play note-by-note through challenging parts, all on-the-fly. A new “Master Mode” makes playing by memory more approachable and new “Guitarcade” mini-games have been created to hone specific guitar skills. With these flexible and deep practice tools, it’s never been easier for players to play their favourite songs on guitar or bass.

With Codemasters F1 2013 game set to be released soon, I had the chance to sit down with Sky Sports F1 Commentator David “Crofty” Croft to talk all things F1.

On October 10, Skylanders, one of the world’s most successful video game franchises¹, is partnering with Toys”R”Us to bring Skylands to life with “SWAPtoberfest”-a celebration in Times Square where fans will have the chance to be among the very first to play the game before it’s available at retail. Skylanders SWAP Force was recently named as one of the 2013 Toys”R”Us “Fabulous 15″on the Toys”R”Us Holiday Hot Toy List. The game will be available in North America on Xbox 360, PlayStation 3, Nintendo Wii, Wii U and Nintendo 3DS on October 13; in Australia on October 16; and in Europe on October 18. It also will be available day-and-date with the launch of Xbox One and PlayStation 4.

Created by legendary game designer Ron Gilbert, The Cave will be available on 3^rd October on the App Store for $4.99 / £2.99/ €4.49 for the iPod touch, iPad and iPhone.

The next set of free games for Xbox Live Members in October will be Might & Magic Clash of Heroes and Halo 3.

Starting Tuesday (October 1st) Might & Magic Clash of Heroes (Normally US $14.99 /£9.99) will be free for Xbox LIVE Gold members through October 15th .

Then on October 16th, Xbox Live Gold Members can download Halo 3 (Normally US $14.99 / £14.99) for free.

As a reminder, the “Games With Gold” program gives Xbox LIVE Gold Members 2 free games to keep each month. A new title will be available the 1st and 16th of each month.
