With the success of last year’s SBK14, with over 4.5 million downloads, Digital Tales and championship rights holder DORNA WSBK has announced the new installment in their SBK Official Mobile Game franchise, based on the eni FIM Superbike World Championship .

All the tracks and bikes from the 2015 season have been faithfully recreated to offer players the most realistic motorcycle racing experience on mobile, an experience as unique as the real Superbike World Championship. Thanks to SBK15, gamers will be able to challenge the WSBK stars on their smartphones and tablets.

New in SBK15 is the Time Attack mode, where players can hone their riding skills and push their own limits to record the best lap on each track. Thanks to player feedback collected on SBK14, SBK15 features enhanced physics and an advanced bike handling model supporting a smoother control system. On top of that, cross-platform compatibility is provided between Windows Phone and iOS devices.

Time Attack is the latest addition to the more classic game modes: Championship allows gamers to pick a team and speed through this season’s circuits next to the official WSBK riders; Quick Race offers a fast and dirty race on a track of their choice and Challenge makes it possible for them to download both the official SBK riders’ and their friends’ best laps and then challenge their “ghosts” in order to steal their tricks on the track.

4A Games and Deep Silver have today released extensive playable demo versions of both Metro 2033 Redux and Metro: Last Light Redux for Xbox One and PlayStation 4.

The demos are available to download now from Xbox Games Store worldwide and PlayStation Network in Europe, and will hit the US PlayStation store soon.

Making full use of the new-gen consoles’ ‘Trial’ functionality, gamers can play through the opening chapters of both games. Should they wish to upgrade to the full version, they can transfer their saved games and continue their adventure seamlessly.

The Metro 2033 Redux Trial includes the first eight Chapters up to the end of ‘Dead City’. The Metro: Last Light Redux Trial includes nine Chapters up to the end of ‘Theatre’. In each case, the Trial version represents about one-third of the total game.

“We have already been humbled by the success of Metro Redux on the new consoles” said Dean Sharpe, CEO at 4A Games. “With these trials, we want to give everyone the chance to experience the unique world and the post-apocalyptic atmosphere of Metro. We were inspired by the original shareware release of Doom, and decided to give away as much of the game as we could.”

Over 1.5 million Metro Redux games have been sold worldwide, and that the compilation ‘Metro Redux’ for PlayStation 4 and Xbox One has now outsold Metro: Last Light for PlayStation 3 and Xbox 360 in multiple territories – an unprecedented feat for a ‘Remaster.’ It is also Deep Silver’s highest rated game according to review aggregator Metacritic.

LEGO Dimensions gets new characters, Rebuild vehicles..

Warner Bros. Interactive Entertainment confirmed today that LEGO Dimensions, the upcoming entertainment experience that merges physical brick building with interactive console gameplay, will include gameplay from The Simpsons, Doctor Who, Ghostbusters, Portal, Jurassic World, Midway Arcade, LEGO Chima and Scooby Doo!.

These fan favourite worlds, most of which have never before been in a LEGO videogame, will converge with the previously announced DC Comics, The Lord of the Rings, The LEGO Movie, The Wizard of Oz, LEGO Ninjago and Back to the Future worlds in one thrilling adventure playable with the LEGO Dimensions Starter Pack.

For gamers that want to customise their LEGO Dimensions experience, Level Packs, Team Packs and Fun Packs based on these fourteen brands will provide new buildable characters, vehicles and gadgets, as well as compelling game content with mission-based levels and unique in-game abilities. All expansion packs will provide players the opportunity to use everything interchangeably, anywhere throughout the game.

It was also revealed in a new trailer that every LEGO vehicle and gadget can be physically built and then rebuilt twice for a total of three different objects that do entirely different things in the digital game for massive variety. Once players earn a building achievement, they will get in-game instructions that show them how to use the same physical LEGO bricks to rebuild vehicles and gadgets into different objects that provide all-new abilities.

For example, the LEGO vehicle bricks that come in the Starter Pack can be used to build the LEGO Batmobile that enables players to activate accelerator switches. The Batmobile can be rebuilt and transformed into the LEGO Batblaster which adds Sonar Smash, a sonar gun that has the ability to break LEGO sonar bricks. The vehicle can then be rebuilt again as the LEGO Sonic Batray which adds a special attack in the form of a missile barrage.

Players can fuse an upgraded vehicle to the LEGO Toy Tag, enabling them to take it and any new abilities with them to a friend’s game or wherever they’d like to play. Players can do this with every vehicle and every gadget from every pack.

Hail to the King in Call of Duty: Advanced Warfare

Call of Duty: Advanced Warfare’s Exo Zombies story has taken quite an interesting turn. A whole new faction of the military has taken our heroes (played by John Malkovich, Rose McGowan, Bill Paxton, and Jon Bernthal) captive. And that faction’s leader is Captain Lennox, played by none other than Army of Darkness and Evil Dead‘s Bruce Campbell.

While there are many questions swirling about in the latest Exo Zombies Carrier trailer, there’s the immediate concern of survival. That’s because there are still hordes of Exo Zombies still roaming about. Everyone must set aside their differences to survive the onslaught atop the Atlas research vessel before settling the issue of what exactly is happening and whose side everyone is on.

The latest chapter of Exo Zombies is set to be included in Advanced Warfare’s Supremacy DLC, which will hit Xbox platforms today (2nd June). All other platforms will get it soon after.

Interactive Entertainment, TT Games and The LEGO Group has announced LEGO Worlds, a limitless collection of procedurally generated worlds made entirely of LEGO Bricks, where players build unique environments and define their own experience. Developed by TT Games, LEGO Worlds allows players to use LEGO building sets digitally so they can build and create wherever their skills and imagination roam.

The game enters STEAM Early Access today, with the goal of allowing the gaming community to provide feedback for continual improvements and the integration of additional content over time. XCOM 2 announced for PC and Mac

Today XCOM 2 has been announced by Firaxis Games and will be released this November on PC, with a Mac version also in the works.

XCOM 2 transports players 20 years into the future, where humanity lost the war against the alien threat that has established a new world order.

The secret paramilitary organization known as XCOM is largely forgotten, and must strike back to reclaim control of Earth and free mankind from the aliens’ rule. XCOM 2 is currently scheduled for release in November 2015.

In XCOM 2, the roles have been reversed, and XCOM is now the invading force. They are hampered by limited resources and must constantly evade the alien threat in their new mobile headquarters.

Players must use a combination of firepower and stealth-like tactics to help XCOM recruit soldiers and build a resistance network, while attempting to expose the evil alien agenda and save humanity.

XCOM 2 will introduce gameplay features such as procedurally-generated levels, which will make each experience unique to the player, as well as offer a much deeper level of modding support. Additionally, XCOM 2 will offer a variety of new content including five updated soldier classes, increased soldier customization, more alien and enemy types, evolved tactical combat and more.

“Firaxis proved they could reimagine a beloved franchise with XCOM: Enemy Unknown, a Game of the Year award-winning title,” said Christoph Hartmann, president of 2K. “With XCOM 2, the team is breathing new life into the series by adding an epic narrative and challenging players to overcome near impossible odds.”

Today, Warner Bros. Interactive Entertainment revealed the Mortal Kombat X Tanya Bundle, new downloadable content (DLC) that heralds the return of the Edenian fugitive Tanya as a playable character and the Klassic Pack 1 with familiar looks for Kano, Sonya and Liu Kang.

The Tanya Bundle is a part of the Mortal Kombat X Kombat Pack, providing fans with Mortal Kombat X DLC for £23.99. Players who already own the Kombat Pack will be able to download the Mortal Kombat X Tanya Bundle starting tomorrow the 2nd June.

Players wishing to purchase the Tanya Bundle separately will be able to do so beginning tomorrow the 2nd June from the PlayStation Store, Xbox Marketplace and Steam for £6.49. Tanya will also be sold separately for £3.99, and the Klassic Pack 1 will be sold separately for £3.29
