New Super Luigi U has been given a release date. The add-on for New Super Mario Bros U will be available from 20th June in Europe.
It will also be available as a standalone purchase from retail or the eShop from July 26 for a limited time. New Super Luigi U transforms the New Super Mario Bros U 82 stages into all-new courses.
Not only will courses be shorter and littered with obstacles, but players will have less time to reach the end. Luigi will be able to jump higher than Mario, opening up potential new shortcuts, but takes longer to slow down after dashing.

‘Sonic Lost World’ Announced as Wii U, 3DS Exclusive
Sonic: Lost World has been announced as a Nintendo exclusive. Unveiled by Satoru Iwata during today’s Nintendo Direct presentation, the 3DS and Wii U action-adventure platformer marks the beginning of a new partnership between Sega and Nintendo.
No further details were given, but Iwata promised to unveil more during this year’s E3 gaming expo in Los Angeles.

When I reviewed the ASUSTOR NAS back in December, I liked the surveillance solution but was disappointed in the number of camera products that were supported. This announcement is a welcome development as ASUSTOR continues to build out their product line.

Microsoft Launch Dedicated Xbox News Portal
Microsoft has opened an official news portal know as Xbox-Wire. The site seems to be an equivalent to the PlayStation blog, being described as “a news blog to help you keep up with the latest Xbox news.”
“You will be able to follow our journey as we bring you the best in games and entertainment and along the way we’ll introduce you to the people, places and technology that bring it all to life,” says Editor Lisa Gurry.
“You’ll see some familiar faces on Xbox Wire. Our executives will write blogs occasionally, but most of our blogs will be from everyday people on the Xbox team. Our own Major Nelson will appear as well – both via blog posts and through interviews of course, Major’s fans can also continue to follow along with him at MajorNelson.com.

‘Gran Turismo 6’ PS4 Version Planned
Polyphony has confirmed plans for a PlayStation 4 version of Gran Turismo 6. CEO Kazunori Yamauchi has said that the company is planning for the racing game to progress “naturally” to the next generation console, reports Eurogamer.
The latest instalment of the franchise was announced this week for PlayStation 3.
“We actually do have a PlayStation 4 version in mind,” Yamauchi revealed at Silverstone. “So for this holiday season, we thought that it would be best for users to release the PlayStation 3 version.
“I thought the best scenario would be to have the game come out, to have new content and new DLCs every month, and updates coming in for the game; and once players have thoroughly played out the system and played out the game, if the PlayStation 4 version just came out naturally in the progress, I think that’s the best scenario.”
President and CEO of Sony Computer Entertainment Europe Jim Ryan said that Polyphony has a tradition of developing the technology of the franchise over different versions of the console.
“If you look at the difference between GT and GT2, and GT3 and GT4, the change is not incremental. It’s absolutely massive,” he said.
“We’re very confident that you’ll see the steep change between GT5 and GT6 as on the previous platform iterations. So there’s that – a sense of very much unfinished business on PS3.”
When asked whether progress on GT6 would be transferable between PS3 and PS4, Yamauchi said: “Probably.”
Gran Turismo 6 will arrive on PS3 in time for Christmas.
EA to Release SimCity Amusement Park DLC This Month
The Amusement Park Pack for SimCity will be released on 28th May, Maxis has announced. Anyone downloading the expansion will be able to place a fun park in the middle of their city and both attract tourists and the cash that goes with them.
There is currently not known cost for the DLC expansion, although we expect it to be around the 9.99 GBP mark.

Call of Duty : Black Ops 2 Uprising DLC now available on PlayStation 3 and PC
Today PlayStation3 and Windows PC players will have the opportunity to play Uprising, Activision and Treyarch’s second epic DLC Map Pack for the record-breaking Call of Duty: Black Ops II. Uprising. This includes four new multiplayer maps, plus “Mob of the Dead,” a bone-chilling new Zombies experience that takes players to the notorious prison island of Alcatraz.
