Crysis 3 Patch G Released for PC, Xbox 360, PS3

Today Crysis 3 Data Patch G was released, it is a behind the scenes update and is automatically downloaded when entering Multiplayer.

Patch G contains the following tweaks:

• Recoil adjusted on some weapons to fix unintended behaviour after Patch 1.4
• Increased laser beam visibility
• Fixed issue where zoomed HMG’s had no recoil
• Fixed issue where some weapons with Aim Enhance Tier 3 and a Muzzlebrake had no recoil
• Weapon balance tweaks
• Rhino range slightly reduced
• Kvolt accuracy increased
• OGR damage slightly increased
• LTAG clip size increased by one and max ammo +2
• Jackal damage slightly increased

Kingdom Conquest II new season starts now

SEGA today announced the commencement of a new season and update to Kingdom Conquest II on the App Store and Google Play.

Kingdom Conquest II is the sequel to the 2010 blockbuster, Kingdom Conquest, that to date has had over 3.5 million downloads. Developed by SEGA Networks, Kingdom Conquest II is a universal app compatible with iPhone, iPad, and iPod touch and is available for free on the App Store and for all Android devices on Google Play.

With the opening of the second season, players can have their armies battle in a new duelling system by pitting their monsters against each other in the Battle Arena. Other additions include the Demon Race with its powerful attack parameter, and the mighty Dragon Race with high attack, defence and siege parameters. Alongside the release of these new races, powerful Commanders will be introduced continually to lead the battle throughout Magna. New mechanics have also been added such as orbs that will strengthen monsters.

Adjustments have been made to the balancing of facility capabilities and constructible military outposts. The Commanders abilities have also been adjusted to offer players even more strategic choices.

Added: Mouse control commands to data service, for upcoming features in mobile applications.
Added: Event handling functionality updated for handling of power scenarios, main movie and credits start handling for device power and light control functionalities.
Added: Sony Remote Control handler for volume controls

Change: Blu-ray titles did not mark chapter reading as improveable, despite you have been able to read these for a while.

Fix: Folder monitoring had a problem with removing and re-adding titles on USB drives.
Fix: Wake On Lan did not work on TV Episode playback.
Fix: Audio key on remote did not work when ArcSoft TMT was playing.
Fix: DVD Menu button sent top menu button, now sends popup menu button as original remote when TMT is playing.
Fix: Missing files could cause a problem when opening the options dialog on CM installation.

Amazon.co.uk today announced the launch of Amazon AutoRip, a new service that gives customers free MP3 versions of CDs and vinyl music they purchase from Amazon.

When customers purchase AutoRip CDs and vinyl the MP3 versions are automatically added to their Cloud Player libraries where they are available, free of charge, for immediate playback or download – no more waiting for the CD to arrive. Additionally, customers who have purchased AutoRip albums at any time since Amazon.co.uk first opened its Music Store in 1999 will find MP3 versions of those albums in their Cloud Player libraries – also automatically and for free. More than 350,000 albums, including titles from every major record label, are available for AutoRip, and more titles are added all the time – customers can just look for the AutoRip logo.

Microsoft has today released a preview build of Windows 8.1.

A single search now brings you results from your PC, your apps, and the web. See results in a clean, graphic view that lets you take immediate action and launch apps. Search, click, do. Find a song and start playing it, or find a video and watch it right away. Powered by Bing.

You’ll notice that the Windows Store has a new look which makes it easier to discover and download new apps. And the apps that are included with Windows 8.1 Preview let you do a bunch of cool things. For example, the Camera app can shoot 8 frames per second before, during, and after you push the button. So you never miss a shot.

Set up a slide show on your lock screen by picking your favourite pictures. Arrange the stuff on your Start screen so it’s just the way you want it. Choose from more tile sizes, more colours, and more backgrounds—including animated backgrounds.

137 lucky fans will be immortalised in an Assassin’s Creed IV Black Flag 18th century style oil-painting, depicting an intense and epic Naval Battle on the high seas.  Brought to life by the masters at Beaux-Arts school in Paris, the 2.3 x 4.5 meter painting will be displayed online and in the Musée de la Marine gallery in France, from November 4 to December 3.

Call of Duty: Black Ops II Vengeance is available first, exclusively on the Xbox Live online entertainment network from Microsoft beginning 2nd July. Vengeance, the game’s third epic Downloadable Content (DLC) Pack from Activision and its award-winning studio Treyarch, takes players to four diverse locations around the globe, including a deserted tropical island, a destroyed suspension bridge, an abandoned paintball course and the jungles of Myanmar.  Vengeance also serves up a new addition to the game’s esteemed Zombies experience with “Buried,” where the undead residents of an abandoned subterranean Old West mining town have come back to claim their home.

“When it’s difficult to see the line between playtesting and leisurely gaming around the studio, it’s a sure sign that we’ve created something fun with Vengeance,” said Mark Lamia, Studio Head of Treyarch.  “From the four multiplayer maps to our new Zombies experience, “Buried,” Vengeance continues doing what we set out to accomplish from the very beginning of development on Call of Duty: Black Ops II: pushing the boundaries of fans’ expectations.”

Call of Duty: Black Ops II Vengeance delivers four new, diverse multiplayer maps starting with “Cove,” where the stage is set for all-out conflict on this small, forgotten island in the middle of the Indian Ocean, with players battling it out amongst the wreckage of a jet that crash-landed during a smuggling operation gone wrong. Next up is “Detour,” a destroyed suspension bridge, high above an East Coast waterway, packed with scattered vehicles, exposed iron and collapsed pavement where the head-to-head action will play out on multiple levels. The third map, “Rush,” sets the stage for fast, close-quarters engagements in this paintball course turned full-combat arena, giving players new opportunities and challenges to use the cover to their advantage. Rounding out Vengeance’s multiplayer maps is “Uplink.” In this re-imagined adaptation of the fan-favorite multiplayer map “Summit” from the original Call of Duty®: Black Ops, players clash deep in the rain-soaked jungles of Myanmar, high atop a hi-tech mountain facility.

Treyarch yet again expands the Zombies storyworld in new, mind-bending ways with “Buried.”  Players meet up with old characters and will encounter new ones as they face off against the undead residents of an abandoned underground Old West mining town.  A healthy arsenal of equipment and weapons that will be at players’ disposal, but with one very special addition – something so powerful it will also appear in all other Call of Duty: Black Ops II Zombies maps (with the purchase of Vengeance DLC): the Ray Gun Mark II.

Call of Duty: Black Ops II Vengeance will be available first, exclusively on Xbox Live for Xbox 360 for 1200 Microsoft Points on 2nd July, with other platforms to follow.
