This week saw the Black Hat conference once again return to Amsterdam for 2 days of intense, and informative, security briefings covering topics such as newly announced vulnerabilities.

This is just a reminder to anyone who is interested in attending the 1st UK Windows Media Center and Home Server User Group meeting which is going to be held in Birmingham next Tuesday evening (the 21st April).

The Black Hat Europe 2009 Conference starts next week in Amsterdam.

Just a quick post to say that the Events page is now live.

April 21st 2009 will see the first UK Windows Media Center and Windows Home Server Usergroup Event taking place at the Aston Science Park in Birmingham.

Microsoft are advertising a webcast for Microsoft Partners called “5W/50 Series – Windows Home Server – The Next Version”. This is a free to attend webcast due to take place on Friday 5th June 2009 at 9am Pacific US time, for an hour.

For those of you who are interested, there are a number of security conferences coming up over the next few months.

While we were all in Las Vegas for CES, Ian Dixon recorded the Media Center 2008 Awards Show which I was honoured to be a part of.
