Namco Bandai have now released Naruto Powerful Shippuden on the Nintendo 3DS.

NARUTO Powerful Shippuden is based off the popular anime series NARUTO SPIN-OFF: ROCK LEE & HIS NINJA PALS and presents a side-scrolling action fighting game starring Rock Lee and Naruto Uzumaki in two separate adventures. Developed by Inti Creates with production support from CyberConnect 2 Co., Ltd., NARUTO Powerful Shippuden possesses a charmingly unique presentation of the characters that pumps boundless amounts of youthful energy into the ninja combat that is sure to captivate audiences of all ages.

Story mode places players into missions through which they can experience scenarios taken straight from the original animation storylines as well as comedic parodies. Like the TV anime series, each mission is one complete story and doesn’t follow a specific order so that casual and young gamers will be able to enjoy pick-up-and-play gameplay that is intuitive and stylish.

However, don’t be fooled by the adorable appearances of the super-deformed ninjas! Enemies such as Orochimaru and other sinister characters standing in your way will be quick, wily and powerful, which will require players to pull out all the ninja stops. Players will need to make efficient use of their Chakra to attack and defend without depleting their Chakra levels and also utilize the touch-screen functionality to increase their strength. Lee and Naruto’s ninja pals, such as Guy, Sakura, Neji and more will also be itching to join the action as summoned support characters to aid in the heat of battle.

General

  • Addressed an issue that could sometimes cause co-op player revival to not work under certain circumstances.
  • Addressed issues with players not spawning into a level properly.
  • Fixed a marine player invincibility exploit.
  • Resolved several instances where players could walk or fall outside of maps.
  • Fixed an issue that could cause localized text to sometimes display incorrectly.
  • Addressed an issue where weapon ammunition was not always highlighted properly.
  • Addressed some issues where multiplayer / co-op clients could see interactive objects displayed in a different state.
  • Fixed a bug affecting voiceovers with the Firing Range bonus content.
  • Addressed an issue where Ripley’s Flamethrower (bonus content) would sometimes fire continuously without player input.
  • Addressed a rare issue that could cause Achievements to not unlock properly.
  • General user interface improvements.
  • Miscellaneous bug fixes.

Campaign

  • Addressed some issues that could cause improper warping for co-op players.
  • Various tweaks to address instances where NPC characters would not always properly navigate to objectives.
  • Added safeguards to prevent players from using a weapon in the weapons-suppressed portion of “One Bullet.”
  • Modified Bella and Reid’s behavior in “No Hope in Hadley’s” to prevent them from spawning at the wrong point.

Versus

  • Fixed issues that could clients to report inaccurate results and statistics.
  • Addressed instances where a map would appear to “pop in” when loading into a new match.
  • Addressed an issue that was could cause stutter when opening the multiplayer scoreboard.
  • Switching profiles while in a lobby now returns players to the title screen immediately.

Today, Ubisoft announced that the critically acclaimed Rayman Jungle Run is now available on PC and Surface tablets powered by Windows 8 and Windows RT.

“Windows 8 touch-based interface is a perfect match for Rayman Jungle Run” said Jean-Bernard Jacon, producer of the game.

The game can be downloaded from the Windows Store and will feature all the content from the original game, including the recently released ‘Potpourri’ level update and Globox as an extra playable character.

Rayman Jungle Run is powered by the same UbiArt framework engine that brought you Rayman Origins. It is easy for all ages to pick up and play, but challenging for the longtime Rayman fans to master.

Featuring the hit single “Shooting the Moon” from acclaimed UK band Mona, the trailer offers a glimpse of “Judgment’s” challenging campaign and embodies the bold defiance, bravery and heroism of fan-favourite Damon Baird and Kilo Squad, as they face an unjust trial and fight to rescue the planet Sera from the brink of annihilation. The trailer was rendered entirely in-engine on Unreal Engine 3, showcasing the stunning graphics of the most visually spectacular “Gears” game yet.

Today, Warner Bros. Interactive Entertainment and DC Entertainment released a new video, spotlighting the brilliant but infamously ruthless arch nemesis of Superman, Lex Luthor, in the upcoming fighting game Injustice: Gods Among Us.

Narrated by Luthor himself, this new video hints at his role in the mysterious organization known as “the regime” and gives insight into his motivations and allegiance in the ever-changing power struggle that exists in Injustice: Gods Among Us.

Luthor sums up his reason for joining the regime in one short sentence, “I always choose the winning side.”

Konami Digital Entertainment GmbH will release the first DLC component for its best-selling METAL GEAR RISING: REVENEGEANCE title in March for both PlayStation 3 and Xbox 360.

Released on February 21st/22nd to huge critical acclaim, METAL GEAR RISING: REVENGEANCE marked the collaboration between Kojima Productions and PlatinumGames. The all-action epic,  takes the renowned METAL GEAR franchise into exciting new territory with its mix of action and epic storytelling. The game features Raiden as its central character – a former child soldier transformed into a cyborg ninja, and equipped with his signature High-Frequency Blade – and the three new DLC elements further showcase the rich characters the game boasts.

The first European DLC pack on March 13th, comprises the eagerly-awaited ‘VR Missions’, wherein Raiden’s many attacks and stealth skills are challenged in a series of virtual reality environments. Designed to complement previously-released VR Missions seen in previous entries to the METAL GEAR SOLID series, the VR Missions DLC will add 30 new missions to the METAL GEAR RISING: REVENGEANCE VR Missions menu. Each new mission is designed to test the player’s reactions, movement and fighting skills.

These will be followed soon after by two story-based DLC chapters. ‘Jetstream’ centres on the side-story of Sam, and features him as a playable character for the first time, while the ‘Blade Wolf’ pack focuses on Raiden’s enigmatic side-kick and its unique story. Both packs expand on the backgrounds of these two key characters, and provide origin stories that segue seamlessly into the main game.

All three packs will be available for both PlayStation3 and Xbox 360. The ‘VR Missions’ DLC is priced £1.99 or 240 Microsoft Points.
