All you have to do is add an .nzb file and SABnzbd takes over from there, where it will be automatically downloaded, verified, repaired, extracted and filed away with zero human interaction.

Sick Beard: Sick Beard is a personal video recorder for newsgroup users. It watches for new episodes of your favorite shows and when they are posted it downloads them, sorts and renames them, and optionally generates metadata for them.

CouchPotato: CouchPotato is an automatic NZB and torrent downloader. You can create a “want to watch” list and CouchPotato will search through multiple NZBs & Torrents sites, looking for the best possible match. Once a match is found it will send it to SABnzbd or download the file to a specified directory.

Headphones: Headphones is a SABnzbd add-on that automates your music downloading. It allows you to import all your favorite artists from iTunes, and keep an eye out for any new albums they might be releasing.

Subsonic: Subsonic is a free, web-based media streamer, providing ubiquitous access to the music on your ASUSTOR NAS. You can use it to listen to your own music, share music with friends and even stream to multiple player simultaneously.

This is not the speediest AC router out there, but priced at $130, it looks to represent a nice value for your router dollar.  If you are in the market for an AC router, this might be an interesting option.

First three commentators for the official ASHES CRICKET 2013 announced

505 Games recently announced the first three commentators to feature in the official ASHES CRICKET 2013 video game this summer. Lead commentator for Channel 5 in the UK and Australia’s Channel 9, Mark Nicholas, will be joined by ex-England head coach and Sky Sports pundit, David Lloyd and ex-Australian international and Channel 9 commentator Michael Slater.

Mark Nicholas acts as the lead commentator of the three. Although being an Englishman by birth, and playing for Hampshire for over 17 years, he has since made his name as a television presenter. Nicholas is the anchor of Channel 5 cricket coverage in the UK and also anchor of Channel 9 coverage during the Australian summer cricket season.

David Lloyd, affectionately known as Bumble, brings a wealth of experience and good humour to the game that cricket fans have come to expect from his dulcet tones. Famous for his array of catchphrases, such as “This pitch is as flat as a dodo” and “England have nothing to lose here, apart from this Test match”, Bumble was England coach during the 1997 Ashes series before becoming a Sky Sports commentator in 1999.

Finally, ex-Australian international, Michael Slater completes the commentating line up. Known as ‘Slats’ in the commentary box, he has been commentating on Channel 9 for seven years. Slater played in four Ashes series, scoring 1669 runs including a remarkable seven hundreds. He played 74 Tests for Australia between1993 – 2001.

Warner Bros. Interactive Entertainment and DC Entertainment today announced that a free demo for the upcoming DC Comics fighting game Injustice: Gods Among Us is available for Xbox 360 and PlayStation 3.

Fans can find the demo beginning April 3 on the PlayStation Network and Xbox LIVE Marketplace.

The Injustice: Gods Among Us demo features Batman, Wonder Woman and Lex Luthor – three playable characters pulled from the game’s robust DC Comics roster.  Set in the Gotham City arena, fans can get a taste of the included characters’ unique super powers and individual move-sets as they destroy elements of the world and fight through the multi-tiered arena.

This street-legal sports car features an 8.4-litre V10 and the kind of gorgeous curves you’d expect from Italian design center Zagato. In short, this one’s as easy on the eyes and as it is fun on the road.

· 2002 BMW M3-GTR (FREE Download) – The 2002 BMW M3-GTR is synonymous with rarity. As BMW puts it, “The GTRs (both race and street copies) were never sold to anyone. Only three street copies were built. Not all three were ever shown. A street copy was shown in the U.S. only once, and for less than an hour.” Little wonder, then, that this M3 is bound to be a prize for “Forza Horizon” players.

Wireless Britain: The High Street turns into the i-Street

The high street is turning into the i-street, as the rise of wireless-enabled smartphones, tablets and other devices sees more than 10 million Britons a week logging on to public WiFi while out and about, new research reveals.

The figures from The Cloud, the biggest high street WiFi provider in the UK, show that almost a quarter of the nation (22%) uses WiFi in shops, cafes, restaurants, pubs and other public venues every week – with a hardcore 2.8 million (6%) logging on every day, the equivalent of one in 10 smartphone users.2

Among techier 25-34-year-olds, this rises to one in three people accessing a high street hotspot each week (33%) – and one in 11 (9%) every day.

And with an estimated 28 million Britons now owning smartphones, and 7.3 million tablets,3 the research also reveals the extent to which wireless internet usage out and about is no longer the preserve of young people or Londoners.

A fifth of 45-54-year-olds (19%) use public WiFi at least once a week, as do 10% of people aged 55 or older.

And although London boasts the greatest proportion of high street WiFi users (47%), the North East (42%) and South West (40%)

Moreover, data from The Cloud’s own national network of more than 18,000 hotspots show that users in other cities are more prolific ‘WiFiers’ than Londoners. While people in the capital appear to be “WiFi snackers” – quickly logging on to check emails or social media – users in Nottingham, Cardiff and Sheffield spend at least 50% longer online in a typical session.

Likewise, public WiFi users in Bristol, Cardiff, Nottingham and Reading download on average 50% more data per session than Londoners, with people in Brighton downloading almost double.

Overall, one in three users (35%) log on for more than 15 minutes on average, and nearly one in 10 (8%) for more than half an hour.

According to The Cloud’s own data, there were more than two billion minutes spent online using public WiFi in the first 10 weeks of 2013 alone, with more than 800 million megabytes of information downloaded in total.

Vince Russell, managing director of The Cloud, said: “As smartphones, tablets and other wireless devices become ubiquitous, we’re increasingly looking to take our in-home internet experience out and about with us. With 3G connections frequently throttled and 4G not yet a mass-market proposition, this means many of us are turning to high-speed WiFi.

“As a result, we’re seeing shops, cafes, pubs, gyms and other places where people live their lives looking to meet this demand by offering free WiFi to their customers.

“Some seven million people pass through The Cloud’s venues every day, with hotspots ranging from Wick in the Highlands to Penzance in Cornwall, all in the kinds of venues where people want to take time to surf the web, catch up on emails, news and sport, and even listen to music or stream HD video.”

There are 200 new venues added to The Cloud’s network every week. Its hotspots are in major high street venues and public places, such as Greggs, Caffé Nero, PizzaExpress, Wetherspoon pubs, Eat, Pret A Manger, Wagamama, WH Smith, the City of London, and Network Rail and London Overground stations.

All Sky Broadband Unlimited, Sky Fibre Unlimited and Sky Connect customers are eligible for free, unlimited access to The Cloud WiFi via Sky’s app, WiFi Hotspots from The Cloud.

Guardians of Middle-earth now with added Frodo

Deep Silver released lots of new screenshots for the highly anticipated action game “KILLER IS DEAD” from KADOKAWA GAMES, LTD., to be released on the PlayStation 3 and Xbox 360.

Deep Silver releases brand new KILLER IS DEAD trailer

Deep Silver released a new trailer for the highly anticipated action game “KILLER IS DEAD” from KADOKAWA GAMES, LTD., to be released on the PlayStation 3 and Xbox 360.

“KILLER IS DEAD” is set in a not-so-distant future similar to (but not the same as) the world we know now. The player takes control of an executioner named Mondo Zappa who wields a Japanese sword in his right hand and brandishes interchangeable weapons in his left artificial arm. His ultimate goal is to execute various heinous criminals scattered around the world and beyond.

Completely unique visuals and outstanding stylish action come together to deliver an unprecedented gaming experience in “KILLER IS DEAD.” This brand-new action title is being jointly developed by KADOKAWA GAMES and GRASSHOPPER MANUFACTURE, with SUDA51 lending his trademark sense of style at the helm. Army of TWO The Devil’s Cartel “Army of Burri-Two” Challenge

From pizzas the size of planets to curries hotter than Hawaii, eating challenges have been making mincemeat out of plucky challengers for years. Now, for the launch of Mexico based Army of TWO The Devil’s Cartel, Electronic Arts and Chilango have announced the “Army of Burri-Two” challenge, daring brave Brits to take on a gargantuan burrito so huge and spicy that it can’t be vanquished alone.

The “Army of Burri-Two” challenge will require two hombres to team up and take down a burrito that’s double the size of anything else on the Mexican restaurant’s Zagat-rated menu. And just in case eating a burrito the size of a small child wasn’t challenging enough, the combined heat of two different salsas will leave all but the most hardcore quivering in its wake.

Foolhardy customers can also choose to douse their meal in Chilango’s optional Overkill sauce. Bringing to life the game’s Overkill mode – which boosts the amount of destruction you can dish out to insane, Michael Bay-esque proportions – this explosive addition is made from excruciatingly spicy habanero peppers, which are over 60 times hotter than your average jalapeno.

Currently available exclusively at Chilango restaurants for just three weeks, gamers and food fanatics alike should brace themselves for one of the most intimidating food challenges London has ever seen.

“We’re excited about partnering with Chilango to launch Army of TWO The Devil’s Cartel,” said Colin Blackwood at Electronic Arts. “They’ve been making great burritos for years, and what better way to bring the game’s hot co-operative gameplay to life than via a blistering burrito co-op challenge.”

LucasArts Shut Down by Disney, ‘Star Wars 1313’ Cancelled

Disney has announced large-scale game development and support staff cuts to LucasArts.

LucasArts will retain a small staff, but Disney will now begin licensing production on future gaming titles out to other developers.

A Disney spokesperson said: “After evaluating our position in the games market, we’ve decided to shift LucasArts from an internal development to a licensing model, minimizing the company’s risk while achieving a broader portfolio of quality Star Wars games.

“As a result of this change, we’ve had layoffs across the organisation. We are incredibly appreciative and proud of the talented teams who have been developing our new titles.”

Disney’s change to the Star Wars gaming model has led to work being stopped on the highly-anticipated Star Wars 1313 for the time being, as originally rumoured in February.

Development on Star Wars: First Assault has also been halted in response to the large-scale layoffs.

The Lego Star Wars franchise is expected to continue under the guidance of the remaining staff.

The announcement comes mere months after Disney purchased Lucasfilms in a massive $4.05 billion (£2.5bn) deal.

LucasArts was formed in 1982 and has since released highly lucrative games based on Star Wars, Indiana Jones and Labyrinth.
