Middle-earth: Shadow of War finally has a release date. The game will be coming out on 10th October, and will be optimized for Xbox One X it will also be out for PS4 and PC.
We got a look at some extended gameplay for the Shadow of Mordor sequel, although it looked a lot like the announcement gameplay with Talion recruiting more followers so that he has the right troop makeup to assault another overlord’s fortress.

Bethesda Showcases Skyrim On Switch at E3 2017
Bethesda gave a brief gameplay trailer showing off Skyrim on Switch. They also revealed that the game will have support for Amiibo and motion controls. No release date was shown during the trailer.
During the trailer, we see a Breath of the Wild Amiibo used to drop a chest into Skyrim. It’s implied that in this chest, the player acquired a BOTW Link outfit, along with a Master Sword and shield. It’s likely that different Amiibo will be used to drop Nintendo themed mods into Skyrim, and that’s awesome.

We also see the player use the joycon’s motion controls to swing a sword, block with a shield, and fire arrows. Although this seems very cool in concept, we worry that they may become clunky and difficult to use precisely. That being said, it’s good to see companies bringing AAA titles to the Switch. We’ll be sure to update this article if any new details come out for Skyrim on Switch.
Dishonored Death of the Outsider coming this September
It’s been a two long years since Bethesda first showed off their work on Dishonored 2 back at E3 2015, and though series fans have likely already made their way through the game by now, Bethesda hasn’t stopped thinking about new and exciting stories set within the Dishonored universe. Bethesda has made the most of the opportunity by giving fans a solid glimpse of Dishonored 2’s upcoming expansion titled Death of the Outsider.
Series fans will no doubt recognize Meagan Foster, better known by her real name Billie Lurk, who is shown distracting and systematically eradicating enemies within a shadowy building. Curiously, she’s also shown with new technology that allows her to teleport short distances and even through walls, and these abilities seem to play into her rescue of Daud, another characters players will remember from the Knife of Dunwall DLC for the original Dishonored.
Needless to say, there are several questions raised by the newest trailer. Fortunately, we won’t have to wait long to find the answers, as the Dishonored 2 Death of the Outsider DLC is slated to release on 15th September.
Wolfenstein 2: The New Colossus coming this October
Bethesda closed out its E3 showcase by confirming rumours of Wolfenstein 2: The New Colossus, the follow-up to 2014’s Wolfenstein: The New Order.
In the debut trailer, Wolfenstein 2 shows … well, it shows all sorts of things. Mechanical dogs rescuing civilians pinned underneath cars, dudes chasing green fairies, Nazis sipping strawberry milkshakes.
The takeaway, though, is BJ Blazkowicz will return on 27th October to mow down lots of Nazis on Xbox One/PS4 and PC.
Bethesda announces Fallout VR coming to HTC Vive
Fallout 4 VR is coming some time in October, and although we didn’t get much in the way of details at Bethesda’s showcase other than it will be available for HTC Vive on PC, we did get a pretty good trailer on what we would see.
And it is a pretty good representation of Fallout 4 as we experienced it before.
Wolfenstein’s BJ Blazkowicz joins Quake Champions
Quake Champions will be having its eSports Championships at QuakeCon this year, so Bethesda felt it would be cool to introduce another character to the mix ahead of the finals. Wolfenstein’s BJ Blazkowicz is joining the roster.
No details on the new champion yet, other than dual-wielding shotguns, but here’s the trailer showing off some player while giving some more info on the Championships, including a $1 million prize purse.
Bethesda announces Doom VFR coming to PSVR and the VIVE
All that demon-slaying goodness we know and love from Doom is coming to a virtual reality headset near you with Doom VFR for PlayStation VR and the VIVE. Yes, that “F” probably stands for exactly what you think it does.
This raw and visceral take on the already-excellent shooter doesn’t yet appear to have a release date, unlike Fallout 4 VR, but we can rest assured it’s likely coming soon or around the same time as its Fallout brethren.
One thing’s for certain: This is the kind of thing many of us have been waiting for ever since we set our eyes on the original Doom so long ago, so playing it in VR will be something of a dream come true.

Microsoft brought out the big guns for this years E3 2017 press conference, but none of those guns were quite as big as the ones rocked by Terry Crews in the all-new teaser video for Crackdown 3.
Crackdown 3 is another title among several new and top-tier Windows 10 and Xbox One exclusives, and like many of the other titles featured in tonight’s conference, it’s been enhanced to run at 4K resolutions on the new Xbox One X.
