The rip-roaring adventure finds down-on-his-luck Captain Jack feeling the winds of ill-fortune blowing strongly his way when deadly ghost sailors, led by the terrifying Captain Salazar (Javier Bardem), escape from the Devil’s Triangle bent on killing every pirate at sea—notably Jack. At the helm of the Dying Gull, his pitifully small and shabby ship, Captain Jack seeks not only to reverse his recent spate of ill fortune, but to save his very life from the most formidable and malicious foe he has ever faced.

Espen Sandberg & Joachim Rønning are directing “Pirates of the Caribbean: Salazar’s Revenge” with Jerry Bruckheimer producing. The executive producers are Mike Stenson, Chad Oman, Joe Caracciolo, Jr. and Brigham Taylor. Jeff Nathanson wrote the screenplay. “Pirates of the Caribbean: Salazar’s Revenge” will sail into UK cinemas on 26th May, 2017.

Sniper Elite 4 is going all out with support for PlayStation 4 Pro and for DirectX 12 on PC! The next entry in Rebellion’s sharpshooter series will take advantage of the latest technology when it launches on 14th February, cementing its place as the defining World War 2 game for a generation.

Sniper Elite 4 will offer a number of technical improvements on PlayStation®4 Pro at launch, including enhanced frame rate, improved lighting and faster loading times (more details below).

Beginning today (3rd Feb) and lasting until 5th Feb, a special Sniper Ghost Warrior 3 beta is available for PC players on Steam. Cut Off The Separatists control a large antenna array, which lets them use satellites to track enemy movements and communicate with distant outposts. Jon needs to infiltrate this compound and manually reposition the dishes to intercept the satellite signal. Gaining access to enemy communications would give Jon and his team a tactical advantage over the enemy, as well as possible intelligence on his brother, Robert.

Blockout Jon’s cooperation with the local resistance, the Rotki Lions, gave him the location of one of the targets from his Most Wanted list – a list containing the names of war criminals that Jon can neutralize to bring justice to the people of Georgia. The target is Ivan Krustchev. He’s hiding out in an abandoned apartment complex, surrounded by his guards. How will you complete this mission? Will you use your sniper rifle from the opposite building, storm the outpost with your assault rifle, or sneak past the guards and quietly take out your target?

Ubisoft “For Honor” season pass revealed

Ubisoft announced that the For Honor season pass will include six all-new Heroes available seven days before they are released to all players, plus additional in-game gear and a 30-day Champion Status, which will give players more experience points and loot. Additional post-launch content, including new maps, modes and gear, will be available for free to all players.

The For Honor Season Pass can be purchased alongside the full game or through the Gold Edition. The contents of the For Honor Season Pass include:

  • Six all-new Heroes available seven days before released to all players
  • Six elite outfits to customise the new Heroes
  • Day One War Pack
  • One exclusive sunbeam effect on emotes for all Heroes
  • Three exclusive emblem outlines
  • Three scavenger crates to unlock additional gear
  • 30-day Champion Status that gives XP boosts to friends, more XP from crafting and additional end-match loot

All Season Pass content, except the six post-launch Heroes and their elite outfits, will be available at launch on 14th February. The new Heroes will be progressively released by batches of two at the beginning of a new Season of the Faction War – the persistent cross-platform meta-game that will evolve the war across the For Honor world. After this early-access period, these Heroes can be unlocked via Steel, the For Honor in-game currency given for completing matches and in-game challenges.

Additional free content will also be released across three Seasons following launch. This post-launch content, including new maps, modes and gear, will be available for free to all players. Season Pass holders will receive an early access to some elements of this post-launch content.

Warner Bros. Interactive Entertainment has today revealed details around three highly collectable new expansion packs for LEGO Dimensions, will be available in the UK on the 12th May. The Goonies Level Pack, the Harry Potter Fun Pack and LEGO City Fun Pack will broaden the selection of the world’s available for the game, allowing players to customise their experience by mixing and matching favourite characters and universes with full compatibility.

In addition, LEGO minifigures included within each of these expansion packs come with special golden Toy Tags which unlock a free play Adventure World of the corresponding entertainment brand, as well as a Battle Arena that can be reached through Vorton.

Each Battle Arena is unique to the world of the character used to unlock it and features competitive split-screen local gameplay for up to four players, with four exciting gameplay modes including Capture the Flag, Objective, Base Bash, and Tick, Tag, Boom!.

The Goonies Level Pack includes a complete level of The Goonies gameplay where players can help Sloth and Chunk escape the Fratelli hideout and join the rest of the Goonies on their search for One Eyed Willy’s treasure. Players can use Sloth’s Super Strength to smash through walls or play as Chunk and use his infamous Truffle Shuffle.

The rebuildable One-Eyed Willy’s Pirate Ship will sail on water and can also be built into the Fanged Fortune and the Inferno Cannon; while the rebuildable Skeleton Organ has Sonar Smash abilities and can also be built into the Skeleton Jukebox and Skele-Turkey for added game play capabilities.

Sloth provides access to a new The Goonies Battle Arena, and also the Adventure World where players can explore Mikey’s House, Inferno Cove and the Goon Docks. Once the level is complete, players will be able to replay through the game and other levels as any of the seven other Goonies characters to solve additional puzzles and access more collectibles in their journey through the LEGO multiverse.

Players can extend their wizarding adventures in LEGO Dimensions with the Harry Potter Fun Pack which includes a Hermione Granger LEGO minifigure. She can cast magical spells such as Wingardium Leviosa to levitate objects and Lumos to light up dark places. She also allows players to unlock the Harry Potter Battle Arena for a competitive match, along with the Adventure World where they can explore locations in Hogwarts, Hogsmeade and Diagon Alley. Players can build the 3-in-1 rideable Buckbeak the Hippogriff and use its Stomp Attack to smash Silver LEGO bricks, then rebuild it into the Giant Owl and the Fierce Falcon for additional in-game abilities.

Players can help stop crime in the LEGO Dimensions multiverse with the LEGO City Fun Pack featuring a Chase McCain LEGO minifigure. Chase can become a Miner to break Silver LEGO bricks or a Fireman to use his Water Beam to put out fires. Gamers can use his LEGO City Detective Scanner to track down bad guys and change his disguise to unlock more abilities. In the LEGO City Adventure World, there are new areas to explore like Blackwell’s moon base and the LEGO City Police Department.

Hyperkin has today announced, the X91 which  easily fits in your palms with every button accessible at a twitch’s length perfect for any nostalgic gaming session.

Jesse Aragon, an engineer in Hyperkin’s R&D team who helped develop the product feels the X91 caters to a diverse group of Xbox One owners.

“Hyperkin Labs has included the best of two worlds: throwback gaming mixed with competitive build quality,” Aragon said. “Our goal for the controller was to bring back the form factor we grew up with and modernize it for the hottest games on Xbox One.”

The next episode of Living World Season 3, “The Head of the Snake,” is coming Tuesday 7th February. “The Head of the Snake” sees the advancement of the story as Queen Jennah summons players to her side, where they’ll act as her personal witness in uncovering the nest of corruption in Divinity’s Reach.

Along with “The Head of the Snake” will come the brand-new raid wing “Bastion of the Penitent”. The destruction of the Maguuma Bloodstone has opened a mysterious portal in Bloodstone Fen, and beyond it lies a sinister and ancient place with little chance of escape. This raid will provide players with four bosses to overcome as they discover what mysteries are still chained behind its walls.

In preparation for this new, exciting content, ArenaNet will be holding a sale for the Heart of Thorns expansion! Guild Wars 2: Heart of Thorns is now on sale at 50% until 8th February, for anyone who wants to join in and explore. To access new Living World content players must own Guild Wars 2: Heart of Thorns; by simply logging in they can bank episodes to play later. They don’t need to have completed the storyline in the expansion to enjoy Season 3.

Season 3 content is intended for level-80 characters. Every purchase of Guild Wars 2: Heart of Thorns comes with a Level-80 Boost, which will raise one character to max level and get them equipped to enjoy all the content available in Guild Wars 2, including Season 3.

First DLC for Call of Duty: Infinite Warfare called Sabotage out now

The first DLC pack for Call of Duty: Infinite Warfare Sabotage, is available now on PlayStation 4, with other platforms to follow.

Published by Activision and developed by Infinity Ward, Sabotage delivers four new, epic multiplayer maps including the return of one of Call of Duty’s most famed maps from Modern Warfare 2, Afghan, re-imagined for a new generation. The new DLC pack also features “Rave in the Redwoods,” as Kevin Smith joins the cast in the all-new, ‘90s inspired zombies experience.

“Sabotage brings four new multiplayer maps that feature distinct gameplay for all different gameplay types,” said Dave Stohl, Studio Head of Infinity Ward. “Players will go head-to-head in places like Brooklyn, northern Italy and even on one of our favourite maps from the Modern Warfare series, Afghan – now reimagined as Dominion. The multiplayer package offers something for everyone. And then there’s Rave in the Redwoods, which turns the crazy up to 11 as players experience a new zombies chapter that’s all-1990s and all-zombies. It’s got great music and is a ton of fun.”

 

Sabotage introduces the next thrilling chapter of the Call of Duty: Infinite Warfare zombies experience with Rave in the Redwoods, taking fans through a new storyline taking place in a ‘90s abandoned lakeside summer camp full of wild twists and turns. Filmmaker, actor and podcaster extraordinaire, Kevin Smith (Mallrats, Clerks), joins the cast as himself. Just like the four protagonists, Kevin has been catapulted straight into another twisted horror film helmed by Willard Wyler, the enigmatic movie director villain played with voice and likeness by Paul Reubens (Pee-wee’s Big Holiday, Gotham). Smith has been left for dead in the movie, but through a series of creepy events helps players attempt to escape, where zombie ravers have turned the campgrounds into a techno-fueled nightmare.

The four playable characters from the original story also return, but with fresh over-the-top roles, voiced by Ike Barinholtz (Neighbours, Suicide Squad) as “the Hip Hop Wannabe;” Seth Green (Robot Chicken, Austin Powers) as “the Kandi Raver;” Jay Pharoah (White Famous, Saturday Night Live) as “the Grunge Rocker;” and Sasheer Zamata (Saturday Night Live, Inside Amy Schumer) as “the Westside Gangsta.”

In addition to the Rave in the Redwoods zombies content, Sabotage also includes four new multiplayer maps:

  • Renaissance – Set in Northern Italy, Renaissance pits players against each other on the narrow streets of Venice surrounded by classic architecture and buildings. The map promotes continuous action through the canals and neighbourhoods of this iconic city.
  • Noir – A dark, grimy city map inspired by futuristic Brooklyn at night, Noir is a classic three-lane map set against a backdrop of a dystopian future. Noir is filled with cafes and parks surrounding a brutal downtown warzone.
  • Neon – A virtual training centre designed for urban warfare, Neon is a unique, digitized battle arena where cars and other structures spawn out of thin air and enemies dissolve into hundreds of pixels when defeated. Middle-lane sightlines cater to long-range players, while the perimeter of the map allows for quick counter-attacks in close-quarter action.
  • Dominion – A re-imagining of the classic Afghan map from Modern Warfare®2, now set on Mars, Dominion retains all the memorable landmarks and gameplay of the original. Anchored by the crashed ship in the centre, Dominion offers enhancements designed to fully engage the new movement system of Infinite Warfare.

The Call of Duty: Infinite Warfare Sabotage DLC Map Pack is available now for a great value via the Call of Duty: Infinite Warfare Season Pass, which can be purchased on its own or obtained as part of the Legacy Pro or Digital Deluxe editions of the game. Season Pass gives discounted access to four Call of Duty: Infinite Warfare DLC Map Packs released during 2017. Season Pass owners will also receive 10 Rare Supply Drops upon purchase plus 1,000 bonus Salvage Credits to craft new prototype weapons.
