What your Smartphone Says about You
Is your smartphone talking about you behind your back? It’s probably not, but that doesn’t mean your phone isn’t saying a lot about who you are as a person. Read this infographic to find out what kinds of things strangers can figure out about you from your choice of smartphone.
73% of smartphone users are using it to check their email, and the largest segments of those email-obsessed users are probably BlackBerry owners. No one loves email like BlackBerry users.
With the average smartphone owner carrying about 28 apps, it’s no surprise that so many people choose iPhones because of the kinds of apps available on the Apple operating system. Apple phones have incredible app opportunities, which attract the most progressive app users.
While BlackBerry and Apple owners are easy to spot, the truth is that the Windows user is less easy to find. This person is usually as understated as his phone. Neither the owner nor the device is very fancy, usually. The HTC Windows phone is the hallmark of a person who is low maintenance and laid-back.
If you’re into Motorola madness, then you probably enjoy texting like a mad man. Motorola lovers are quick on the draw and even faster to respond to tweets. These phone owners are usually under 20 years of age, or experiencing mid-life crises.
Finding the perfect phone isn’t about a brand or a user type: it’s about who you are and what you need. Forget the stereotypes and get the phone you love, whether it’s the HTC One or even an old-school flip phone.
Read this handy infographic to find out more about average smartphone users. You’ll also learn interesting facts and figures about smartphone users, such as that 80% use their devices to access social networks.

YouTube Premium Channels to Launch ‘This Week’
Google is reportedly on the brink of adding premium content to YouTube. The Financial Times claims that the web giant is planning to offer additional channels for a monthly fee as soon as this week.
The report states that Google will offer around 50 specialist channels with subscription packages starting at $1.99 (£1.28) a month.
A YouTube spokesperson told the newspaper that it is “looking into creating a subscription platform that could bring even more great content to YouTube for our users to enjoy and provide our creators with another vehicle to generate from their content, beyond the rental and ad-supported models we offer”.
It is thought that the move will pave the way for channel owners to offer more TV and movie content, although YouTube already operates a pay-per-view film streaming service.

‘Far Cry 3: Blood Dragon’ Director in Discussions over Sequel
Far Cry 3: Blood Dragon director Dean Evans is in discussions to develop a sequel, according to voice actor Michael Biehn. Speaking to Major Nelson on this weeks Podcast, Michael Biehn revealed that Evans hoped to turn the Far Cry 3 spinoff into a franchise.
“Dean was on the phone with me last night. He was pretty jacked up. He was going into a meeting today. I think he wants to turn it into some sort of franchise. He’s got a sequel in mind,” Biehn revealed.
Far Cry 3: Blood Dragon is set in a dystopian version of 2007, with crude cut scene animation and an electronic soundtrack.
Set on an open world island, it revamps many of Far Cry 3‘s gameplay systems, including cyber-enhanced wildlife and futuristic weapons.
Biehn stars as Sergeant Rex Power Colt, who attempts to save the world from a villain who has enslaved humanity. The success of the original Far Cry 3, which sold more than 4.5 million copies last year, prompted Ubisoft to develop further entries in the series.
Far Cry 3: Blood Dragon is out now on Xbox 360, PS3 and PC. Read the Far Cry 3: Blood Dragon Review Here
