The EP600 ergonomic chair from Boulies is ideal if you suffer from poor posture, tight hips, and a terrible back. This incredible chair will hug every curve and joint of your entire body to reduce fatigue and muscle and joint tightness. The result is a more refreshing work or gaming environment. Furthermore, you won’t feel like you’ve run a marathon the second you stand up.

This refreshing approach changes the way you feel when you sit in front of your PC or gaming console for hours. I hate the daunting feeling of joint pain. Thankfully, this chair is specially designed to shift and support every key component of your body. With 6D armrests, an adjustable headrest, 4D adaptive lumbar support, and a built-in footrest, this is a spectacular piece of office furniture.

What’s in the box of the EP600 ergonomic chair?

  • The packaging is plain, large, and cumbersome. Accordingly, I recommend a 2-person lift.
  • The EP600 ergonomic chair has mesh fabric and is available in black or grey. I was sent the latter, and I appreciate the light colour and the professional finish.
  • Every necessary tool is provided.
  • The chair comes in several parts, so plan some time to construct it.
  • Use the guide to help construct your chair.

The construction process.

I’ve built many gaming chairs, so I wasn’t worried about tackling this as a solo project. However, I would suggest taking this on with another person. It is mostly a cinch to build, but there are a few awkward moments where 2 people would make it much easier.

The step-by-step guide is a breeze to follow, and every key component is well labelled. Therefore, you can work through every stage with limited problems. It took me around 30 minutes to build this from beginning to end, and there was no way I could make a mistake. Consequently, those with limited DIY experience will not struggle.

Technical aspects.

A chair is just a chair, right? Well, no, that would be wrong. The EP600 ergonomic chair is designed with comfort, lengthy gaming sessions, and customisation in mind. Every aspect of this chair shifts, moves, and slides for the most comfortable Boulies chair to date.

The most impressive element of this chair is the dynamic back support. We’re all guilty of poor posture, but this chair aims to correct our bad habits. As you sit down, the 4D support moves and locks into your seated position. This creates the perfect support every time. Additionally, it moves in different ways depending on your weight and height. Therefore, this chair is suitable for a shared office or a large family.

The customisation options continue with an adjustable back support, headrest, and 6D armrests. Subsequently, users can mould the chair to their body shape and size for a perfectly comfortable experience from beginning to end.

One element I don’t particularly use is the reclining back. I don’t need to sleep while gaming, but if you like to have a snooze in the office, you’ll enjoy up to 120 degrees of recline adjustment with a secure locking nut. This offers a comfortable position that will not move.

Build quality.

The EP600 ergonomic chair is designed for people who are 5’5” to 6’3” tall. This vast range is supported by every adjustable part. Moreover, the wide seat ensures that bigger-framed individuals do not feel claustrophobic when using the chair. Additionally, there are no uncomfortable pressure points from the armrests or supportive structure.

Each of the movable parts has a durable and easy-to-handle locking point. Moving them is simple, and the catches, switches, and other elements resist heavy-handed users while retaining their clean and simple design.

The meshed material may be a sticking point for some users. However, I urge you to consider this lightweight and breathable option. Available in 2 colourways, it creates a professional finish that’ll look amazing in any office. Furthermore, if you have a colourful gaming space, the muted colours will be the ideal juxtaposition for a calming effect. The meshed material is easy to maintain, and the breathable nature prevents any contact points from overheating and sweating.

Finally, the seat and the backrest feel plush and durable. The result is a supportive chair that holds you in place without applying pressure to your joints. If you then chuck in the hidden footrest, you get an amazing chair that is as relaxing as it is supportive.

Is the EP600 ergonomic chair worth it?

Gaming chairs come in all shapes and sizes. You can also buy one for a very affordable price. However, I urge you not to consider something too cheap, as your body will not appreciate the lack of support. On top of this, the phrase “pay cheap, pay twice” springs to mind. Thankfully, the EP600 ergonomic chair is affordable, even with all its advanced technology.

With fully customisable and supportive parts, 2 colourways, easy-to-maintain materials, and a low-fatigue design, you won’t want another chair. This exceptional piece of office furniture looks fantastic, and your body will thank you for the investment. It’s phenomenal, and I recommend buying it here!
