My Thoughts….
Short and to the point with this month’s State of Play, some good reveals with Arise capturing my attention immediately and whatever the hell Wattam is , first looks at CoD Modern Warfare story and an awesome surprise to see Medival Demo available right now from PSN Store. PSVR had some love with LA Noire VR available right now as well and a surprise to see Sid Meiers Civilisation VI debuting on PS4 in a few months.
Was not too impressed with the special Death Stranding Limited Edition PlayStation 4 Pro console, but then I now own the GEARS 5 Xbox One X LE Console so…tough bar to reach. Big finish though was always going to be Last of Us Part 2 and a first look at the story makes me very excited for this game when it releases in February 21st 2020 as confirmed tonight.
On the same night as a full Inside Xbox show, this State of Play was short and to the point, lots to keep PlayStation fans happy but also leaving them guessing at what else might be revealed before 2019 comes to a close….such as a PlayStation 5 reveal perhaps.
