Handheld gaming is growing by the day. No longer is it a child-only platform, as Steam and Windows-based devices monopolise the market. Accordingly, adults want the best for their expensive tech. Moreover, keeping your devices protected is a must. This is where the Legion Go 2 Magnetic case from Waterfield comes to the fore. It is a premium product that looks incredible. Furthermore, your Legion Go 2 will be safe as houses when you commute or go on holiday.

This exceptional carry case will make you say “Wow!” The all-leather or all-vegan options are sensational. I opted for the all-leather, and I was not disappointed. The feel, look, and smell deliver a professional and upmarket feel. This makes it a desirable product that doesn’t scream look at me. Instead, it has a serene elegance that every high-end designer product offers.

Build quality.

The Legion Go 2 Magnetic case is available in 4 unique colourways. I opted for Chocolate Leather as I liked the subtle colour and the earthy aesthetic. Moreover, I love an all-leather product as you cannot beat the durability and classic appeal. This travel case is designed to comfortably hold your Legion Go 2. It measures 12.25” (L) x 2.5” (W) x 6” (H), and therefore it is perfect for your handheld device. Alternatively, it will house other smaller devices. However, I recommend searching the website for tailor-made cases for specific products.

Alongside this, it has handy internal pockets to house memory cards, wired headphones or earbuds, and your charging cable. This non-bulky design ensures that you’ll travel with the essential items without ruining the slim and subtle look. Additionally, the durable pockets are padded, and this reduces the risk to your extras or your handheld device.

The plushly-padded interior is created from a closed-cell foam that offers light protection and a pleasant soft finish. This prevents your screen from becoming scratched or your buttons and analogue sticks from any damage. Word of warning, though, this is a soft case. Consequently, any major drops or accidents could damage the contents.

What makes this case stand out from its competitors is the rare-earth magnetic closure. This soft close clasp runs the full length of the case and takes some pressure to force it open. This was incredible as your console and accessories are safe as you travel. Furthermore, everything is stored nicely when you are not using it at home. The strong clasp is hidden within the case, and this creates a seamless and timeless aesthetic.

Usability.

Although the Legion Go 2 Magnetic case is designed specifically for that model, it can be used for other things. This versatility makes it an attractive prospect for many gamers. Furthermore, the handy internal pockets help you to carry everything without an additional bag. This makes it ideal if you are taking a flight or want to lighten your load when commuting.

The magnetic strip was surprisingly strong, and the contents always remained secured even when I had to run for my train. This is reassuring, as no one wants to lose their valuable tech. Additionally, the strong stitching reduced wear and tear. This was essential as travel can be rough, and items do get damaged. Therefore, a durable and attractive case is a must.

Is the Legion Go 2 Magnetic case worth it?

This premium product offers designer quality alongside its incredibly versatile design. The internal pockets hold every key item without adding bulk. Moreover, the plush fabric keeps your expensive handheld device safe from light knocks, dust, and scratches. The strong magnetic clasp blew me away. This modern approach was extremely secure, even when I mishandled the case. Finally, the style is exceptional. The leather oozes quality, and everything about the Legion Go 2 Magnetic case turns heads. Accordingly, I love it, and I recommend buying it here!
