Mobile phones and entertainment on the move go hand-in-hand. However, ensuring that you get the best experience and viewing angles is not always easy. You’ll prop your phone or tablet up, and the device falls over repeatedly. This is more noticeable when travelling on a train or bus, and is infuriating whenever it happens. Therefore, what is the solution? Do you carry a bulky case with a built-in stand? Alternatively, why not look at the Clckr stand and grip solution?

This slim, lightweight, and compact accessory is a fantastic way to conveniently watch movies, a TV series, or game on the move. What’s more, it looks great, is available in a wide range of colours, and is ridiculously simple to use. Accordingly, it is a no-brainer for anyone struggling with this first-world problem.

Use the Clckr stand as a grip.

What’s in the box of the Clckr stand and grip?

  • The accessory is delivered surrounded by coloured tissue paper. This straightforward approach was surprising, but it feels uniquely artisan. Furthermore, the packaging is fully recyclable, and that’s great.
  • The Clckr stand and grip device is compact, stylish, and interesting to look at. Of all the choices available, I went for the black option.
  • A welcome note. Though unnecessary, it was a pleasant touch that made me feel valued as a consumer.

Technical aspects.

This small unit comprises two different materials. The spine of the device is made from hardened plastic and has an adhesive pad to stick your phone case. If you are applying the grip to a glass-backed device, an additional sticker is provided. The stand element of the Clckr stand and grip is made of a leatherette material and has the brand emblazoned upon it.

The accessory feels robust and when attached to your phone, it is reassuringly secure and stable. Furthermore, using the stand is surprisingly simple thanks to the straightforward snap and lock system. By pulling at the tabs, the stand will unlock, slide into place, and relock itself. On top of this, it can be used in both portrait and landscape to make it truly versatile.

Alongside this, the Clckr stand and grip doesn’t interfere with the technical aspects of your phone. No, instead, features such as wireless charging, and NFC work as expected. Consequently, you get a device that is fit for purpose without undermining any other components.

Small, robust, and easy to use.

Is the Clckr stand and grip solution worth it?

This accessory is aimed at a niche audience. However, those people will adore this device. Why? Well, it is affordable, extremely well-built, comes in a range of colours, and is straightforward to use. What’s more, when in use, your phone is stable and offers a great viewing angle. Accordingly, it ticks every box without letting you down.

If I were to make one minor change, it would be that the stand is slightly bigger. If this was the case, the grip element would be more comfortable to use. As it is, the space for your hand is quite tight and those with larger hands will struggle. Subsequently, it could undermine the product for some key users. However, this aside, it is a phenomenal device that will please many people. As such, I can happily recommend that you buy it here!
