Last Wednesday (October 31st), OnePlus fans were given an opportunity to get their hands on OnePlus 6T a week early. The London pop-up, held in Bond St, saw people queuing from 5am in anticipation of the new device. Over 800 community members joined us to see OnePlus 6T in action, have their phones signed by Carl Pei, and get their hands on the new phone.
One individual had travelled over from Ireland on Monday and waited until Wednesday eagerly to buy the handset. Others had travelled from Brighton, Birmingham and Manchester. The OnePlus 6T goes on sale to the wider public tomorrow, 6th November.
In Europe over 4,500 people attended the biggest range of pop-up events ever hosted, across 11 cities; London, Berlin, Milan, Amsterdam, Madrid, Barcelona and across France in Paris, Marseille, Bordeaux, Lyon and Toulouse. The pop-up in New York saw 700 people take over a corner of Times Square to be the first in the world to buy the OnePlus 6T.
