Relic Entertainment is bolstering the multiplayer offering for Company of Heroes 2 with the addition of two all-new maps.
The first of these maps, Rostov, is based on a historic World War II battle by the same name which occurred at the mouth of the Don River. Featuring a prominent frozen river as well as inhospitable terrain, Rostov will provide a treacherous battlefield for up to six players.
The second map, Kharkov is based around the second largest city in the Ukraine which was the site of several major battles in World War II. In this urban multiplayer map up to four players can battle over the ruined city.
Both Rostov and Kharkov will be available for free download on September 24th.
Here is a trailer showing the Rostov map:
The first Theater of War mini-pack ‘Case Blue’ will also be available on that day and will be free for eligible pre-order customers as well as owners of the Collector’s Edition and Digital Collector’s edition.
