Final Thoughts

The drive comes in either 750GB or 1TB, and for this review we took a look at the 1TB version.

The drive is very light weight so it’s easy to slip it in your bag or pocket and not really notice you are carrying it. It’s also very quiet, so you can use it anywhere.

While it isn’t the fastest drive on the market, it still clocks in a very reasonable speed so for most tasks you won’t be disappointed.

One slight oddity with the drive is that the status light is next to the USB 3.0 connector, which means you can only see the light (if you want to check on it) by turning the drive around, although this isn’t exactly a major issue.

The drive is backed by a three year warranty which gives you that added assurance that if anything goes wrong with the drive it can be replaced.

The drive is pre-formatted for use on a Mac, but it can be reformatted and used on a PC if you need to. If you do use it on a Mac it’s the perfect Time Machine drive.

The price of the drive is £99.95. but as usual look around to see if you can get a better deal.
