The Good
Graphics look great. The player mechanics are well-suited to the controls of the Vita. The action is fast-paced and really gets fun. Weapons are imaginative and fun to use; my favorite is a particle beam equipped drone that atomizes targets using a Predator-drone-like aerial interface. Being able to scrounge ammo and to change load-outs during the mission helped me to keep going. The missions are at least somewhat believable, the pace gets frenetic and this is good fun to play.
There is also a well-developed multi player option and it looks like great fun.
The Bad
Nitpicking here, but I’d prefer that melee attacks be controlled with the rear touchpad. It would streamline a somewhat cumbersome control interface.
The Verdict
If you have a PS Vita, go ahead and buy this game. It’s easily worth the $35.99 download and you’ll enjoy yourself.
