A Battlefield 4 promotional poster has seemingly confirmed the return of ‘Commander’ mode.
A leaked GameStop pre-order poster suggests that the top-down ‘Commander’ mode, which was last seen in Battlefield: 2142, will be playable in multiplayer, according to Eurogamer.
The promotional material also reveals that online factions include China, USA and Russia. Users who pre-order the title from GameStop will receive the first expansion for free, which represents a saving of $10.
Announced in March, Battlefield 4‘s single player campaign will offer more open, sandbox gameplay moments following feedback from Battlefield 3.
It also aims to deliver a more emotionally impactful story, closely following your fellow soldiers against the backdrop of an impending world war.
The campaign is teased to also offer elements of social persistence, while multiplayer introduces new water vehicles and will add innovations to the franchise.

Oh hell yes! Commander mode was a fantastic concept!
