Let’s click on General Settings and poke around a bit. First, the General tab.
I like the fact that the 5big ships with a value time server configured. This unit is not joined to a domain, and you can see the name and time zone that you chose in an earlier setup step. Now onto file sharing!
Lacie’s choices on file sharing services that default to started make sense here. I have no Linux systems, so I’ll leave NFS set to off, but will turn on FTP, SFTP and ISCSI services for later testing. Make the selections by clicking the Pencil icon at the right of each service. First, click the pencil icon for ISCSI.
Select Settings.
Now the Pencil icon for ISCSI Drive.
