You can then connect to the monitor. If you have more than one monitor connected you have the option to set one as the default.

Final Thoughts

The first thing you notice about this monitor it that it looks beautiful. It is very slim and it is highly polished black (so much so it made taking some of the pictures for this review interesting!).

You also notice that the stand is actually attached to the monitor itself and that all the connections are on the stand, rather than the monitor.

The stand gives a large degree of movement and angle so you should be able to get an angle that is just right for you, although sometimes the angle isn’t that great!

The stand has a number of connections, including multiple USB 2.0 and USB 3.0 ports.

One interesting aspect is that the connections are lacking a DVI port! Yes, there is HDMI (which I used to connect it to my PC), and there is an RGB port, but not DVI. I am not sure why they didn’t include one though. That said though, one of the main selling points of this monitor is the wireless connection capability, so you really don’t need a cable to connect.

I really liked the touch screen buttons and icons that glowed on the base – it all just adds to the user experience.

One of things that sets this monitor apart from others on the market is the Ultra Wireless Band technology and dongle. Basically you just plug the dongle into your laptop or PC and connect away automatically, hence the comment above about the cable.

It’s a shame that the wireless dongle only works with PC’s and not the Mac though.

Wireless connectivity was easy – in fact automatic. All I had to do was install the software, connect the dongle and wait a moment!

The picture quality is very good, but it’s certainly not the best on the market. Fast action sequences were blur-free, which is always good and I think for most people it will be perfect for their needs!

Also, the maximum resolution is 1920 x 1080, which for most people may be fine, but again it would have be better to have had a higher resolution like some other monitors on the market.

Price wise, this monitor isn’t cheap – in fact its a fair bit more than other monitors of it’s size. You are paying for the wireless connectivity capabilities, so if you are not sure you are going to use them, you may want to think long and hard about whether to buy the monitor. If you are going to use them the decision shouldn’t be that difficult!

When it was released last year, the CA750 retailed for about £500, but now you can get it for around £400. As usual look around for the best deal.

Overall though, if you are looking for a good 27” monitor, with wireless connectivity, then take a long hard look at this one, it may just be what you are looking for.

  1. I am using the Wireless Dongle with a new MacBook Air 2012 model with software I downloaded from Samsung. It is much better if your computer have at least i5 1.8 GHz dual core and Intel 4000 graphics to use this connection properly. Otherwise HDMI it the only way to get the 1080p screen run smoothly. I have another net book with AMD C-50 1.0 GHz CPU and ATI graphics it is not connecting well and HD video run sluggishly Wireless.
