Using the Samsung CA750 Monitor

When you first switch on the monitor you can see various information, primarily at this stage that there is no wireless connection!

You need to install the Samsung Central Station software on your computer – it’s very easy and just needs to you to follow the onscreen instructions:

Now that the software installation is complete, you will see a new icon on your desktop – the Wireless Connection Manager.

Then you can open the Wireless Connection Manager – in this case I couldn’t see the monitor (yet).

The software then advised me that the Wireless Connection Dongle was not connected and I should plug it in – so I did!

The drivers are then installed automatically for you.

My monitor was detected immediately.

As you can see, it’s now displayed and I have a very strong wi-fi signal.

  1. I am using the Wireless Dongle with a new MacBook Air 2012 model with software I downloaded from Samsung. It is much better if your computer have at least i5 1.8 GHz dual core and Intel 4000 graphics to use this connection properly. Otherwise HDMI it the only way to get the 1080p screen run smoothly. I have another net book with AMD C-50 1.0 GHz CPU and ATI graphics it is not connecting well and HD video run sluggishly Wireless.
