Final Thoughts
The case is made out of leather and looks very professional. It is also fairly lightweight. Obviously this gets a little heavier once the iPad 2 is inside the case, but not so bad that you wouldn’t want to carry it.
This case also is made specifically for the iPad 2 – simply turning it over reveals a hole for the rear camera!
I found the whole process of pairing up the keyboard and my iPad 2 very simple, it only took a few moments and I was using it in earnest.
They keyboard felt very natural to use. They keys are plastic rather than rubber which makes the feeling of typing that much better and it didn’t take long before I was typing away quite happily.
I really liked that I could just pull the keyboard off the case (it is held there with a magnet) and so could just have the keyboard on my lap, or even use it with the iPad 2 on a different stand if I so wished.
I have tried a few different cases and keyboard combinations (we have reviewed a few here at UWHS as well) and I have to say that this is by far my favourite of them all so far.
The cost of the case and keyboard is a very reasonable £49.99, and I can highly recommend it to anyone who wants to not only protect their iPad 2, but who also wants it to look good at the same time – oh, and have a keyboard to boot.
