The camera app works very well, and the Wave II takes a very good picture.
Here is the picture I took, through a closed window!
Connecting it to Windows made it easy to copy off any pictures I wanted.
Final Thoughts
This was my first real hands-on experience with an Bada based phone other than a few minutes here and there at events or in phone shops, and I have to say I was pleasantly surprised how easy it was and how quickly I picked it up.
Everything you need is right there in front of you and it all works very well.
The on-screen buttons were nice and big, so it was easy to use them and not accidently press a button you didn’t want!
There are plenty of connectivity options and built-in applications to keep you going and you can always download more.
The camera worked very well and took some great pictures and also great 720p videos.
The Samsung Wave II has been available now for around a year, so you should be able to pick it up quite cheaply.
If you are looking for the very latest, state of the art phone then you might want to skip the Wave II (only because it’s been out a year, and in phone terms that’s an eternity), but if you want a great reliable device, that is easy to use, then look a long hard look at the Samsung Wave II.
