Lunch
To round off the event, we were taken to lunch at the OXO Tower, which having lived in London for a large part of my life I had never actually been in!
The food was excellent, the company a lot of fun (especially on the table I was on) and the views amazing.
The Winners
After lunch it was time to reveal who had won the prizes and the anticipation had been growing for hours.
I was utterly amazed to hear that I had won the 1st challenge, and one my new friends, Melinda (Miss Geeky) had won the 2nd challenge. Her presentation was excellent and everyone agreed she deserved it.
It wouldn’t be a Microsoft event if there wasn’t a little goody bag to take away at the end of the day, and this is what we got in the bag. A bag of snow balls cotton candy (well they look a bit like clouds), a SkyDrive cloud stress ball, a tub of sweets and a SkyDrive bag.
The End of a Great Day
So that was the end of the adventure, and we all agreed as we left that we had all had an amazing day, seen some fantastic sites, had great food and made new friends. Oh, and some of us walked away with some new tech!
I couldn’t have won the 1st challenge without the help of some of my Twitter followers, and so I am going to send each person who tweeted a response for me (whether it was right or not) a little gift to say thank you for helping! I figured it was the least I could do. So if you were one of those who answered the call for help, check your DM’s for a message from me!
Here were some of the pictures of the event taken by the professional photographer:
Thank you again to everyone involved in making the day so much fun.
And if you haven’t tried SkyDrive yet you should! Watch out for more on SkyDrive very soon here at UWHS.

Not bad….
